Does anyone have any idea where I can get the best deal for the new harry potter book coming out?

At your local library!

If you have to buy it, like me...everywhere I looked has just about the same price--40% off, even Amazon. I haven't seen it cheaper than that.

Last time I found the cheapest place was either CostCo or Target.

I don't think I can do the liabary on this... the wait will be too long LOL!

I plan to buy it Saturday

Just checked Costco.com. They are showing $15.99 Amazon is showing $17.99

I'm picking mine up at CostCo. The last two books they have had the lowest price and they have so many books there is no chance of them running out.

I pre-ordered mine from abebooks.com for $12.99. However, the pre-sale ended a couple of days ago. My dad works at Sam's Club and he says they will be going for around $15-$16.

I ordered from overstock.com thru mypoints. Only $1.84 shipping and book was either 14.99 or 15.99. It's $17.99 at Amazon and the shipping is higher. So I get the book plus shipping for less than the book alone price at Amazon. Plus I get mypoints for it.

preordered mine from books a million and got an extra 10% off with their membership card, so it was like 16$. maggie

Got an e-mail from Wal-Mart a while ago advertising the new HP book for $16.66. I'm assuming it will be this price at the store on Sat. I'll find out Sat. morning when I stop in to buy it.

I answered an add for a free book if I signed up for something. I signed up for a Discovery Card so I shuld be getting HP mailed to me in teh next three weeks. I started another book now so I wouldn't be chomping at teh bit right away!

I was at the Portland Costco yesterday and was amazed at how many empty H.P. boxes were being used...they must have pallets and pallets of them opened and ready for sale tomorrow!!! I'm bummed though as we are going camping and I won't be able to buy the book until I get back. It would have been great to bring along.

I preordered from Borders B&M for 40% off. I got a coupon in the mail today for 25% off another item when I pick it up on Saturday! :cool1:

I know for a fact that at least some of the Long Island Costcos are not even getting the books in until Friday morning. High security...and BIG BIG BIG fines if anything gets out.

Anybody think this will be a record breaker? I don't know why, but I have a feeling this one is going to sell more than any of the others. Goooooo Harry!!! :cheer2:

I pre-ordered from Amazon a while ago. I think it was 17.99 and they guarantee delivery on the release day. :)

I've read that Costco will have it for 15.99.
