I don't want to get off topic here, but I figure the best answer to this question will be from the Harry Potter fans.
Does anyone know of a tour in England that is geared toward Harry Potter sites...like places they filmed? We're starting to plan a trip to England and would love to take a tour that is focused on HP. My DS would love it! I'm not even sure if one exists or where to start looking. Thanks...

ok, been listening to the book in my car the past week, and every morning I am sobbing by the time I pull into work.
Scenes that brought tears to my eyes this week:
~Harry in Draco's basement, Hermione upstairs being tortured while Ron is running around unable to help her, and Harry desparately cries to the mirror shard "Help Us!"
~Dobby yells to Narcissa "Dobby has no master. DOBBY IS A FREE ELF!!!"
~Harry digging the grave, and etching the stone. Here lies Dobby, a free elf.
This mornings tears were of sentimentality and pride when Neville came down the tunnel, and then all the DOA and Order came to help. And Harry revealing himself to McGonnigal. And Percy's redemption.
I'll probably have to pull over on the bridge tomorrow to compose myself when I get to the rubbing of the Resurrection Stone scene!![]()

I really felt bad for Snape today, unable to defend his reputation when he was chased off by McGonnagle, who was calling him a coward.![]()
The one scene that brought me to tears was the end of Chapter 16.
"He let them fall, his lips pressed hard together, looking down at the thick snow hiding from his eyes the place where the last of Lily and James lay, bones now, surely, or dust, not knowing or caring that their living son stood so near, his heart still beating alive because of their sacrifice and close to wishing, at this moment, that he was sleeping under the snow with them."
You could just feel his despair over losing his parents.![]()

I am proud to say that I finished reading Book 7 last night! I only started reading the first book at the beginning of July, and just kept going until I finished #7.
All I can say is Wow....what a great series, what a great group of characters...just great.
Now I have to start at post #1 on this thread and read....so please excuse any old quotes. I just feel the need to discuss this book.
Congratulations!!!! I remember your posts saying you hadn't read any of them, you must have been very busy this last 2 months! I am so glad you enjoyed them.
Today I made it almost a complete mile in the car before the tears started flowing; this time they were for Fred. And even with the tears, there were a few laughs...Ron punching a bewildered Draco through the iIvisibility Cloak, shouting "That's the second time tonight we've saved your life, you..." and then when they were trying to get into the Whomping Willow, Ron lamented that he wished Crookshanks was there to press the knob; Hermione retorted "Are you a wizard or what?!"I can't recall which one, but I believe that line harkens back to an earlier book.

It's from the very first book where they down the trapdoor to get the Stone.
They fall onto the pile of Devil's Snare -- the plant. Hermione remembers that heat is needed to relax the plant but can't figure out how to make a fire and Ron screams at her
"Are you a Witch or what?!!!"
