Harmony Barber Shop - pixie dust

DH and DS are getting haircuts together (first one for DS!) I made the reservations quite some time ago.

It's just occurred to me that I probably should have scheduled one for DD too - now that she's 2.5 she likes to be a part of everything her brother is doing. To avoid any irrational mid afternoon meltdowns, I tried to add her as a third but there aren't any openings on that day for all 3 together at the same time or even close.

She doesn't need a full haircut or even a style, just a little something to make her feel included. The phone CM mentioned that they would be able to pixie dust her hair without a reservation while DH and DS are there. She said they have the wand right there and would just pixie dust her too. Is this actually true? Has anyone done it?

I could always have her take DH's spot instead, but I'm kind of looking forward to getting the pictures of the guys getting hair cuts together. We are doing plenty of princess stuff with DD so this is kind of a special thing for DH and DS.

Otherwise, I'll just distractify with ice cream or something!

It's been a few years since my son had his hair cut there but that's exactly what they did. They asked my son if he wanted pixie dust and then offered my daughter to have her hair dusted as well. She was thrilled!

Anybody know if they do beard trims at Harmony Barber Shop? I've got mine and DS appointments already, but as I always get my beard and hair cut at the same time, didn't want to end up with short hair on the noggin with a bushy beard. I can get my beard done before I go if they don't do them at HBS.

For what it's worth there is at least one review on another website that suggests a beard trim is on the list of things available. According to another website the cost for beard trim is $10. I would call Disney to confirm.
