Harmony Barber Shop for girls?

Just read the review. Killer haircut? :lmao: They couldn't even cut my DD's bangs straight! Don't get me wrong, the experience was fun, but I would never let any of them cut my kids' hair again. Gel - yes. Cut - no way.

My youngest dd had her first haircut at Harmony. It was great! She was almost three and Shirley Temple curls. The stylist said, "do you know what women used to pay me to put curls like this in their hair? And now you want me to cut these???" He was great! He even dusted her sisters with pixie dust. There were lots of girls getting gel and cuts. I recommend it!

Sounds like they did a great job, I will definitely get an appointment for DDs along with DS!

My DD had the same barber as your DD and it was just adorable, period. I was a bit cautious because DD has very long, very thick, VERY curly hair and she was very gentle in getting it brushed out and trimmed. Excellent job. They don't do it as TIGHT as BBB, but she gave her a precious updo.

Yes, my daughter has a sensitive head and straight hair that tangles like there is no tomorrow! This barber was so sweet, patient, and good. We did BBB in March 2011, all three of my girls. They thoroughly enjoyed it. But every time I ask if they want to do it again, the answer is always no.

The barber shop, on the other hand, is always a yes. I think it is not just that their hair doesn't hurt from being so tight, and not that the environment is quieter. I honestly think to a certain degree BBB came with expectations. They were dressed as princesses, they knew it cost a lot of money, we went to a character meal afterwards. My eldest said she felt she couldn't swim afterwards and have all the money we spent on her hair go to waste.

But the Barber Shop is just relaxing and there is no expectation. It's just a haircut and a ponytail. Just a really great, Mickey-one.
