We are currently trying to decide between the Rose & Crown Fireworks dining package or Fantasmic. We have two kids, ages 9 and 7. Which show do you guys recommend taking them to see? We have to choose between one or the other, unfortunately. Help please. 😁

The way I see it… If you have seen both before, do fantasmic. If you have not seen any of them do harmonious since it won’t be around for much longer. If you simply wa t to see the best, fantasmic all day every day!

I think Fantasmic has more going on that’s fun for kids. But Harmonious will be gone soon, so if that factors into your decision, then you might want to prioritize that. I do really enjoy Harmonious!

Fantasmic is, by far, the better show. As PPs have said, if you plan to come back at some point, perhaps see Harmonious and save Fantasmic for another time, but if it's truly one or the other, I would do Fantasmic.

No question your kids will enjoy the Fantasmic show more. It's also a more comfortable experience since you have seating. Whereas for Harmonious you have to line up early along a railing somewhere if you want to be sure the kids will have decent viewing of the screens. Then you have to stand for the whole show often being jostled by late arriving people trying to get better views. So as long as being in HS at that time works for your schedule, I'd suggest Fantasmic.

Edit: Sorry I just looked back and saw you were doing the dining package which eliminates the crowding issue. But I still feel the kids would enjoy Fantasmic more.

I don’t think the view from Rose and Crown is that good.

I think Fantasmic is the better show.

I'd also suggest Fantasmic (as you decided on). It's just a better overall show. While Harmonious is going away and looks/sounds cool, there isn't much of a story to it. I'm hoping that whatever replaces it will have a better, cohesive show.

There is a reason why Harmonius is leaving already,
also depending on when you are going you might not need to purchase the dinning package to get decent seats.

I love Harmonious, and was fairly disappointed by Fantasmic. So, I guess I'm the exception to the rule.

I love characters and Maleficent and Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey, but Fantasmic felt disjointed. I also struggled to see the water projections, as did most of my party. It wasn't terrible or anything, but we had heard rave reviews. Maybe high expectations were the problem.

Speaking of expectations, we stumbled upon Harmonious one night and were blown away. I thought it was a visual and sonic feast... Spectacular renditions of lesser used Disney tunes (sometimes in region appropriate tongue), vibrant colors, beautiful graphics, water fountains. After reading the initial reviews, I wasn't expecting much, but we still crow about it now.

Surprised by all of the answers, but I will always choose fireworks over anything else. Harmonious is actually a great show IMO, and it won't be around much longer. That would my choice.
