Hard Rock Hotel Self-Parking

Looking at bing maps there looks like a small parking lot out the front door and to the right and a larger one out the front door and to the left. Are these the self parking lots for the hotel or am I missing them?

We will be arriving around 10:00 am on an August Saturday. Assuming photo express passes will be operating then, all four of us will have to come in for check in. Would it be best to have my husband go first, then self-park and meet us at the lobby to walk to US? Or would it be better to hop back in the car and walk from the lot together? It seems like some people mention the HRH self parking lot as a short cut to get to US.

If there's room available, just pull up to the lobby entrance and ask an attendant if you can park there while you go check in. We have done that before.

You don't do the photos for express pass when you are checking in. They can be done once you are all done.

I guess what I am still wondering is whether it is better to all walk from the self parking lot to US or to have my husband meet us back at the lobby after parking and walk from there.

What we have done is just take all the luggage out of the car in the circle and then someone can go park the car. Then that person comes back up and we go check in.

So, it is faster to walk from HRH lobby than the self park lot?

I would have your husband drop you and the luggage off and then go park the car. You can have the luggage checked at bell services since the room may not be ready. You can then get in line and check-in and just have hubby meet you in the lobby. Its about a 5 min. walk from the lobby to US.
