Hard Rock Hotel Question

I booked a club room last night for May, at full price. The reservationist said Entertainment Book discounts were not out yet and that I should keep calling back. My question is has anyone done this and been able to get the discount once they were out? I hope I don't have to cancel and rebook.

You can change your rate to a discount rate on an existing reservation (if available). I've done it before.
