Hard plastic tickets instead of paper ones?

So, just to clarify, the plastic cards that we received from WDTC are the actual tickets, and they do not need to be exchanged for paper tickets at the ticket booth?:confused3

I believe if you just buy tickets from AAA, they are paper as well. But as previously mentioned, they are very durable.

Yes, if you received plastic credit card size tickets with your package, there is no need to exchange them. Take them right to the entrance and swipe them through the turnstile. You are good to go. :thumbsup2

slightly veering off course.

If you have paper ones how do you keep them for a longer stay.

We are going for 14 days (we get a 14day pass available to us kiwis :) ) but I'm sure if it's paper then it's not going to withstand 14 days of continuous use.

Any tips = or thread directions?? the search engine never gives me what I ask :headache:

Keep them in a plastic sleeve on a lanyard, or find yourself one of these (which is what I use). It's called a surf safe and it keeps everything nice and neat an dry around your neck:

thanks - I'll have a look in our surf shops here in NZ :) hopefully I find something that works :)

I bought print-at-home tickets online from Disneyland.com for my niece and nephew on our trip last month. You take the paper printout right through the turnstiles and they exchange them for a plastic card right there. Very nice... and quick!

Yes, there are the e-tickets that you can print at home. However, as stated above there are still outlets that sell you paper-type credit card size tickets. These are very almost plastic paper, but they are not as stiff as a credit card.

You get the plastic ones from the Disney Stores!!! That is all we sell, and they are cute I must add.
The 2 day passes have Aladdin on child passes with Abu, and adult passes have Genie.
3 day passes have Dash for kids and Mr. Incredible for adults.
4 days have Hook for adults and Peter Pan for kids,
and the 5 day passes have Mike and Sulley, I think Mike is kids and Sulley is adults, but I could have that one backwards.

HTH!!
Oh, and Disney Store tickets do not to be traded in once you get there, you get to keep the plastic ones.

That is SOOO cute :) I LOOOOVE that. The last time I went to DLR, I got a paper one. I'm getting an AP this year, so oh well for the plastic park hoppers; i get a better one though ;)

If you have the e-ticket printout vouchers when you exchange them to actual tickets can you ask for the plastic ones or will they just give you paper ones?

They will hold up for 14 days. It's not your typical paper. It's quite sturdy. Disney won't let you down.
