Anyone remember WO and his monday threads? I thought I'd see about reviving those, for all the problems the guy was pretty funny...

My Monday started off on a strange note last night close to midnight where I live. (Yes, I'm a night owl.)

I found a couple of trolls who were brand new posters having fun going around the profanity filters. I have to say, I really love the Alert button located at the bottom of each post. I alerted both offenders and they were quickly flushed off the DIS.

Sorry you're having a Monday

All is pretty decent here. The sun is shining, the winds have died down, and it's 40 degrees cooler than it was last week at this time. Mother Nature is messing with us, but I'm happy not to have to turn on the a/c yet.

I saw your seeds aren't doing to well for the kids' garden. Ours have done okay, but the bell peppers, carrots, and some lettuce aren't sprouting. I need to try again. The raised bed is built and tilled, but needs more soil. Hopefully on Saturday, but if not it will have to wait until the following weekend (got plans to meet my peeps in Long Island on Sunday).

We replanted lots of seeds, I think we still have plenty of time to get them started. If not we will buy pre-sprouted plants to put in the garden. It was going really well, but we left them in the starter planter too long and didn't transfer them to a well lit and bigger space. I'm sure it will be a learning curve this year.

Today is Jessie's 8th birthday (our dog)! We sang to her at midnight and we gave her some peanut butter Frosty Paws (dog ice cream) as her birthday treats.


I think I'm going to get into MIL's trouble list. I told my niece that she needs to remind Grandma to drive on the left side when they go on their special Ireland trip.
