Beautiful! What a sweetie! I think it's awesome to have such a special tradition.
Happy New Year!

I also hope you feel better!
(I've been reading your DCL TR and love, love, love it!)

thank you ladies for the nice comments!!

a korean tradition during the new year is to bow to our elders. it's called "seh beh" & when you bow (it's a very deep bow where your forehead reaches the floor), the elders give you money & words of wisdom for the new year.

emme participated in seh-beh today at church & had a total of $50 in her purse.

we were practicing our bows at home yesterday.

i hope i get better soon....being sick is so draining.

many blessings everyone!

emmebear, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful photos! I think it's so special when families celebrate and pass down their special traditions. So many families I know just aren't doing that anymore. Your daughter is blessed to have your parents be a part of those traditions with.

How special!
The rice cake soup with mandoo looks delicious!
