Not too much -in our family your birthday was always your very own special day so even falling close to Christmas didn't keep it from being a great day.

Did you have problems getting birthday and Christmas in the same month?

My birthday's actually December 24th. I never had any problem with it. In fact, when I was really young I liked it because I could open presents a day earlier. When I was older, in college, it was nice because I knew all my friends would be home for my birthday. After college, it kind of became, "birthday? ehh, why don't you help yourself to something nice under the tree..."

I'm another December birthday (Dec. 19th) and my DDiL's birthday is the day after Christmas. Growing up, my parents always made sure my birthday was fully celebrated apart from Christmas and even as an adult my DH has always made sure my birthday didn't get lost in the Christmas shuffle (although birthdays are not quite as fun to celebrate the closer I get to 50!!)

Happy Birthday to all the December babies!!!! I have two children with Birthdays this month, Dec 11 and the 22.

I love this segment, I am just sad I have to wait until September to hear mine. So Teresa you have to keep it up at least until then.

Happy Birthday December peeps!!!

December baby here too! I'm super excited because for the first time we'll actually be in WDW for my birthday!!! Normally we are heading down right after my birthday or heading home right before my birthday, but this year it just worked out right.

My family never really gave me Birthday-Christmas combo presents but my friends started doing that the older we got.
