Thanks everyone!! so far it's been a good day. Kids and DH got me cards and DH made me a macchiato this morning. I've been trying to watch the parade while cooking sweet potatoes. Thankfully I TIVOed the parade though because I've missed a lot of it.

Tonight after dinner mom has cake for me and my brother. And he has a bunch of friends coming over for dessert.

LOL yeah mom's pie yes, Matt's pie......not so much.

I didn't have the heart to tell him it looked like stuff that came out of my dog after a seizure. Even DS15 was like blech and he can't taste anything because he's sick.
I didn't hear all of the conversation but there was something about not having lemon juice so he used apple cider vinegar, and not enough sweetener (I doubt he used sugar because these are my brothers tree hugging friends), yeah it was.........memorable.
