Thank you for asking about Jake, he did way better then anyone expected and is almost fully recovered!!!! I was very surprised, when he had this surgery a few years ago, he didn't do as well and I thought with his age, it would be much worse, but God is so good and he did so well. Wow, CBR does look beautiful! I think it would take a bit for it to feel 'Disneyish' too, because I'm so used to Pop. I almost 1/2 think that Pop is the only hotel! Although I do have a dream of staying at all the Disney hotels and THEN picking my favorite.... but I'm planning to go back home to Pop for the third time, maybe next trip I'll try an All Star.

After checking out my room I tried to take a power nap since it had been a pretty long morning. Did ya catch that key word in that sentence? "Tried". Haha how could I sleep I was finally at Disney!? So I decided to make my way to Downtown Disney. I had originally planned to go to Epcot. But as you will see my plans changed quite a bit.

Anyway so I made my way out to the Aruba bus stop and I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes and my Downtown Disney bus had come. I love getting on the bus and listening to the themed music. It was a short ride to DTD and off I went to explore.

As soon as I got off the bus my stomach had started to grumble. Most likely because it was around 1 and I hadn't eaten anything yet. So I made my way over to Wolfgang Puck express for some of their yummy margarita pizza and lemonade. After lunch I wanted to explore some of the stores.

After checking out the stores, and not buying anything I might add. Not because I didn't find anything but because I didn't want to carry it to the ship and back. I decided to head over to Goofy's to see what kind of snacks they had.

It was there that I found the best snack on Disney property in my opinion. Ok so in Goofy's they have all the pre-made bakery snacks but they also have a made to order snack bar. They have so many options pretzel rods, caramel apples, marshmallow's, cookies. Then you pick what kind of chocolate they are dipped in, then the toppings then which kind of chocolate drizzle on top. Ok yes so they are about a million calories and so unhealthy but hey your on vacation right?! Anyway I picked the marshmallow dipped in dark chocolate with sprinkles, oreo's and white chocolate drizzle. Oh my goodness soooo good. And the best part it only cost's $2.50 for this!

So after paying for my snack I decided to head back to CBR to relax, get ready for Kona and enjoy my marshmallows.

Up next: Kona and back to Downtown Disney for Cirque du Soleil.

I love the rooms in the Caribbean! A lot has changed there since 1997! They are very cute and colorful now!

CBR was very colorful and peaceful. A very relaxing resort.

Well it wasn't too too important but it sure made some things difficult.

Lol I have that same dream too! So far I've only stayed at Pop,ASMu, AS sports and now CBR. I have a looooong way to go before I've stayed at them all.

How can you just stay in bed and relax when Disney is so close, I know how you feel.
DTD is one of my favorite places to explore, I love Goofy's, I made a treat down there in Oct, and it was yucky!!! Didn't like that thing at all. But oh well, yours looks very yummy so I might have to try something similar next time I am down.

Those marshmallows were so good! I went to DTD 3 times and each time I ended up getting them. But without the oreo on top. They are better with just the sprinkels. mmmmm
