Happy 15th anniversary, DLP! – trip report

The Cape Cod buffet used to be 25 EUR, but I think it went up a little bit. It's still great value for the money, IMO!

I wasn't really disappointed that there were no fireworks, because I knew there weren't going to be any. And I had seen the 15th anniversary fireworks at the press event. But yes, I can understand that people were disappointed. Due to may reasons, DLP is very limited to have fireworks... and because of the press event festivities, when all the big she-bang happened, the 15th itself went a little...basic. But I really liked that parade of CMs. I found that a very DLP-personal touch. Not just artificial floats with CMs in costumes, but the real CMs who have been creating all that magic.

Fab report and GREAT photos!!!

Ca't believe we're off tomorrow morning!!!!!!! :cool1:

After waking up, we had breakfast on bed! Yes yes yes, I had bought some more Mickey brioches, and we ate those in our bed. Not too bad as a start of the day ah!
After showering and packing, we checked out, I faced the garage for the very last time and we drove to the Outlet Village. There we shopped and shopped. After buying way too much lingerie at Chantelle and 4 Longchamp purses, ...!!

Wow, FOUR Longchamp purses. Very nice. I might have to go see that
shopping area after all!

Thanks for the trip report, I loved the pictures.

I know that they have to limit the fireworks to the "big" seasons because it costs a lot of money, but come on! Just on the round birthdays is one additional firework every 5 years!!!

We are loyal Disney fans. We came for the 5th birthday, for the 10 birthday, for the 15th... and the events got smaller every birthday...

For the first time in my life i am not sure i am going to the 20th.... :guilty:

They don't only have to limit the fireworks because of the finances involved, but because of complaints of people living in the neighbourhood.

They told me that the big 15th celebration was with the press event, and indeed, that was rather special!

This is note true. Have you been to the 15th celebration yet? There is so much going on. So much decoration so much new stuff. I have been 13 times before but during this last visit I spent so much time with all the new stuff I felt like it was my first visit.
And I will miss all the 15th celebration things when the will be gone after March last year. I wish Candleabration could stay forever.

I think he meant the celebration things on April 12. There wasn't that much going on then, like fireworks, or extra-special stuff. All that had happened on March 31, for the press event.

I also like what they have to celebrate the 15th anniversary, but I had also expected a little bit more on April 12. There weren't even souvenir maps or anything special as collectible, except for the LE pin that I couldn't get :(

But I am not too disappointed. I saw the fireworks on March 31, I loved the CM-parade on April 12, and I like all the things they have all-year long, like those beautiful banners on Main Street!!!!!
