I'll be heading out soon for a trip to the world at the end of August. This is our first trip back since the Happily Ever After debut.

Was honestly never a big fan of fireworks but, from what i've seen, this new show looks amazing.

As such i'm trying to figure out the best viewing locations to properly incorporate the projections.

Looks like the best spots are the hump right after Casey's before you hit the hub, as well as the back half of the hub before the partner statue.

Any other locations is greatly apreciated.

But from what I understand. About 15 minutes before the show the cast members will tell everyone to move forward to make more room.

Couple questions:

1. We will be going at ostensibly one of the quietest times of the year. Do they always ask the crowds to move forward regardless of crowd levels?

2. Can I just not move forward? For example I'm thinking of setting up by one of the fences in the hub. I plan to be leaning on that fence with my gear along the ledge. People can easily move in front of me no problem. Am I really expected to move?

3. Is it more of a recommendation no matter where I am or is it mandatory to move forward?

4. Any good spots that you wont be required to move from when the time comes?

Thanks all.

Robo has an excellent post with tons of maps showing the best locations.

To me, the spots to the left and right of the reserved areas in the outer part of the hub are quite good. I've also had good luck getting a spot on Main Street in between these two reserved grass areas. The inner part of the hub fills up pretty early -- more than an hour ahead of the show.

In terms of setting up right along one of the fences in the hub you should be fine. Just watch for any masking tape, which CMs will use to mark off paths. I've never heard of Disney asking guests to move forward or move at all unless they are blocking a path that is marked off.

They definitely ask you to move forward. Craig from the DISwas discussing it when talking about filming at the hump. He doesn’t move though, and just lets people walk around him. The CMs don’t like it though.

When I was there in April, we got in just before they started, I simply walked up the staircase at the train station and had a perfect view..... and what a show!!! I was surprised it was so simple to see....( I think this was after the busiest spring break week, but still pretty darn busy)

Not sure what fince you are talking about but the highlight is wheelchair ECV and the back half is walking only

For got to add the picture

I think if you are thinking are these fince then I think you will be fine. If the CM ask you to move please do loom for the tap on the ground these are walk ways and will need to be kept open. I have seen one guest refuse to move and and was walked out by secerity.
