Has anyone heard even a whisper of when Happily Ever After might end? I ask because there was a firm "we're not going back to Disney until Villains' Land opens" rule, until the Happily Ever After song played, and then suddenly it was "We'll definitely be back at Disney to see that again before it goes."

I don't think it's going anywhere. The last time they tried to replace it, they ended up having to bring it back. It is very well-liked. It may not be around forever, but I don't see them trying to change it out any time soon.

In fairness, the show that initially replaced it was intended to be temporary. Multiple sources indicated that show would be succeeded by a new production (showing simultaneously at DL) celebrating Disney’s 100th, but instead they went back to Happily Ever After. While I’m certain. The popularity of the show factored in, Wondrous Journeys allegedly has a significantly higher production cost than any other show in Disney history, so I’m certain cost played a role (especially given WDW does 150+ more shows a year).
