Congrats on your pixie dust!!! Joe sounds incredible! Hope he's there for our disneymoon!! What was the difference between the honeymoon room and the room you were in originally? I assume there were 2 beds in your prior room. Was it the same size as the balcony honeymoon rooms? I think that I've read that the octagon honeymoon rooms - like yours - is about 1 1/2 times the size of the balcony honeymoon rooms. What about your view? Did you have the same view in both rooms?

At dinner, BG and I had on our "Just Married" buttons, and Daniel wore his "Happy Birthday" button too. We got to the lounge on the 14th floor, and we were being seated far away from the wonderful view. Then, the hostess saw Daniel's button and said "Oh, no!! The birthday boy has to sit next to the window!!" What the ^%$#?? What about the couple that were spending LOADS of money to get married the next day?? I know they had no way of knowing that, but still... Sheesh!!!

This is hysterical! Did many people notice your Just Married buttons???

The difference between the 2 rooms is the size. The regular room and the regular "Honeymoon" room are the same size - the only difference is the bed configuration. The regular room has 2 queen beds, while the honeymoon room is the only way to guarantee a king bed.

The octagon shaped room is MUCH larger than a "honeymoon room".

The regular RPC room we had had a view of the other buildings and the pool - over the buildings we could see the lagoon. The octagon shaped room gave us a view of the MK and Castle. I was so dumbfounded by the view - I forgot to take a picture....

As for Joe, he is AMAZING!! We always have pixie dust when we are there - but this time was extra special with that room.... When is your disneymoon?

Yes, it is. DFIL's sister made MIL a "snowflake" ornament with DFIL's picture inside. She carried it with her everywhere we went - in fact, she still keeps it in her pocket at all times.

Joe is great! I can't say any more wonderful things about him! Disney really hit the jackpopt with him as a CM.

Our disneymoon starts July 7!! I can't wait. Right now, I need a vacation from all the wedding planning!!

Thanks for the info about the rooms. I've booked a main bldg honeymoon room - and requested a balcony room. The CM told me the larger rooms don't have a balcony and I'm a bit claustrophobic, so I'd prefer to be able to step outside for some fresh air. Although, your room looked amazing - and the view of the Castle!!!

I had to come out of hidding to say I can't wait to read the rest! Plus I got excited just hearing you got your own room from the GF!!

Again, I was awoken by Stitch screaming in my ear "NO SLEEPING!!" - I rolled over in our large bed, in a room free of other people and saw that BG was still asleep. So, I did what any other wonderful wife-to-be would do - I started jumping on the bed!!!

BG finally became coherant enough to call his Mom and Daniel to make sure they were awake - and he was promptly interrupted by a harsh knock on the door. He hung up the phone and realized that, indeed, Daniel and his Mom were awake - they were standing in our doorway with goofy grins....

I called my Mom and brother to see if they would like to meet us at the MK for an early morning - so we agreed to meet at 9 in front of the Christmas tree. Being my goofy Mom, she asked me if she would know where thr Christmas tree is??? I told her not to worry, go through the turnstiles, under the train station, and she wouldn't miss it!

Needless to say - when she saw the tree, she knew why I was being so silly with her...

The MK - December 21

From Main Street - we went to Toontown. Mickey and Minnie's house was very tastefully decorated for the Holidays

FMIL said Mickey needs to finish the work on his kitchen...

We were coming from Mickey's garage when BG and I were stopped by a CM and a Manager - both wearing YOAMD attire. We were questioned about our honeymoon, and my Mom joked that we hadn't made it to the honeymoon yet. I explained that we were getting married that afternoon. So, as our ONLY YOAMD gift, the Manager bestowed us with 2 of the "Pixie Dust" pins. They are meant to be be seperated, giving one to another family to spread the pixie dust. But we were told to each keep one, pin them in our attire, and they would give us pixie dust for our wedding... They are just beautiful.

We were leaving the MK when Ben decided he was hungry. So, we made a stop by Cosmic Ray's to grab a light lunch. BG and Ben had hamburgers, FMIL had soup and a salad, and Mom and I split a grilled chicken caesar salad. Daniel said he wasn't hungry, so he just had a tea.

We returned to the GF on the monorail and headed up to our rooms to get ready. BG and I weren't going to see eachother from 12:30 until the wedding, so the plan was for FMIL, me, and my Mom to get ready in my big honeymoon room - with BG, Daniel, and Ben getting ready in the other room. That didn't quite go as planned. FMIL started getting very upset about the whole day - so Ben came with me and Mom, while FMIL went back to her room with BG and Daniel.

I made it back to our room, with my Mom and Ben in tow. BG also followed us to get his bag with all of his necessary items to take back to his room to get ready. We hadn't been in the room 5 mintues, when there was a knock on the door. I thought it would be Lisa Pena to do my hair, but it was Mejay and Dan, 2 Concierge CMs. They were bringing pretzels, a bag of potato chips, fruit, bottles of Evian, and sodas on a tray for those getting ready in my room. They had also taken a tray to BG in his room as well. That was so nice of them, I was really impressed by the attention to detail from these CMs.

I hopped in the shower VERY quickly to get the MK smell off of me, and by the time I was out, Lisa Pena had arrived to get started on my hair and makeup.

She was wonderful - I can't more wonderful things about her. She was so funny, and she really helped calm my nerves. During this time, BG took Daniel out to the Marina and they rented 2 water mice for an hour. I guess that was his "bachelor party" . He called once to ask who was standing in our window - he could see Lisa doing my hair, but didn't know who it was.

Lisa completed my hair, then did my makeup and attached my veil. She did a wonderful job. She even left me an entire tube of Mac lipgloss for a touch-up. She said she didn't have any personal applicators, and she had a new tube back at her office. So, she just gave me the tube...

The wedding was to start at 4 pm - SHARP. The current time was 2:30. Another knock on the door, it was Joe bringing Mom's dress. He swooned and swayed over "how beautiful I was" and I gave him a HUGE hug for altering Mom's dress. He is SO great!!!

BG called the room to tell me he had left his tux in our closet, so he wanted Ben to meet him in the hallway with it so he wouldn't be tempted to see me. At this point, he also told me his Mom was too upset - she wouldn't be coming to the wedding. Now, this may make some people upset with me, but this really made me mad. We had gone to great lengthes to make this trip tolerable for her - there were many times when we were in the park when she was arm in arm with BOTH BG and Daniel, while I was walking by myself. We didn't do anything the whole trip with just the 2 of us. This was not only our wedding, but our honeymoon! And I had spent the majority of it sleeping in the same room as her so she wouldn't be upset! So, I thought she was being very selfish by acting this way.

I told him that was fine - if she was going to make this day all about her, then I didn't want her to be there anyway. Needless to say, by the time Ben met BG in the hallway with his tux, FMIL was coming to the wedding. Apparently, she heard my fussing on the phone...

My friend, Daphne, called on my cellphone during this time as well. She supported my angriness, and asked if I would mind if she rode to the Wedding Pavilion with me and my Mom. I thought that was a great idea (I could really use the support ) and that I would meet her in the lobby at 3:40. Mom, Ben, and I continued to get ready - Mom's dress fit perfectly! Joe did such an amazing job! He is so handy!

When I was being corsetted into my dress, my cell phone rang. Apparently, we were VERY late, it was 4:00!!! and we hadn't made it to the lobby. Daphne was afraid that she had missed us...

We FINALLY made it to the elevator, and I realized I couldn't get to the 3rd floor without my room key, which I had left in the room. So, I walked down the 2 flights of stairs to tell Joe just how wonderful he was and how much I appreciated everything they had done for us during the past few days. Sitting at the Concierge desk was Lives4Disney - she is so nice and has such wonderful children! I was able to get on the elevator to the main lobby.
