Does anyone know when this ends and will the imported rides be closed (Soarin')? I know it is a 17 month event but do not know when it started. Thanks...

I'd think it very unlikely that these rides would be closed/removed. They spent a lot of time/money putting them in to close them down after such a short period.

They wont be closing the new rides but not sure if Cinderellabration and wishes will carry on. Hope they keep wishes.

Rumor has it that there will be a new show at the Castle, and a new film for Soarin'.

I have a friend who is a manager at Future World at Epcot. According to him they haven't even started making a new movie for Soarin' yet. It sounds like the current movie is drawing crowds so they'll stick with it for a while. Then they'll make a new movie for it and make a big deal out of it so that they can draw large crowds to the same attraction all over again.

And although I love the addition, I hope they restore the castle to it's old self. The gold decorations are cool, but should be for special occasions.

Thanks, RoyalCanadian. I was curious. It was there for both our trips last year and I knew we would catch it for our trip which starts NEXT WEEK (Wow, it's here already, I realize as I write this). We haven't planned another trip yet for this year but I doubt it will be before the celebration ends.
