They have started :"Get Happier"
First Up: The Seven Dwarfs" They closed both ends of the path to the Wishing Well,
and allowed only a few at a time. Pictures only. No Autographs.

They haven't confirmed that the Monday event is going to be a meet and greet. Last week it was free buttons to the first 50 guests to track them down. They also said some weeks the promotion will be online, not in the parks.

I got pictures with all 7 a few years ago and people always ask me about it, it's a pretty cool opportunity.

I love it when Disney drops something cool like this on us.
I love that it's just a spontaneous treat for guests who happen to be at the right place at the right time. Kind of flies in the face of all the hyper planning and 10,000 questions. It's just there and if you are too--lucky you!

Was there anything special that happened this past Monday?

I was there on Monday and if there was anything special going on, I missed it completely. However, the crowds were much lower than I expected and we had a great day. Oh I just remembered - Space Mountain opened early. Does that count? We were walking through Tomorrowland and I saw people up in the queue, so we made a beeline to it. The wait was about 20 minutes. We considered ourselves very lucky.

On June 30 I won 2 Pirates of the Caribbean vinylmation, and yesterday we group won cookies and buttons in Disneyland in the morning, then again in DCA in the late afternoon. We have a standing date to go every Monday for this promotion.

We're going to try and catch one of these promotions on a Monday in a couple of weeks -- when and where do they announce what the day's promotion is? Is it the day of, and, if so, around what time? And is Twitter the best place to look? Thanks!

The times are really random, and they may say to hurry over to someplace in DL or DCA, so it's really a matter of being at the right place at the right time. This week they gave out 1500 wristbands, to stay in DCA 1 hour after closing. They were passing them out for over 2 hours They announce it on Twitter and on their FB page. Since I can't seem to get WIFI in the parks, I have someone watching it then send me a text message.
