Mixed reviews from what I've read so far.

I saw it last night. Too long first of all. It seemed like it was never ending. It was pretty gross at some parts. I think it's more rentable than spend $10 at the movie theatre and be uncomfortable in those terrible seats.

I dunno... I liked Silence of the Lambs well enough. The sequels have been a letdown IMO. I'll probably take a pass on this one.

Maybe on DVD.

This whole prequel craze is getting a little out of hand. :rolleyes1

I'm not sure yet. I am currently reading the book and am not very impressed, which was a BIG dissapointment. I mean heck, I stayed up half the night to read Red Dragon and I'm making myself finish this one. I will see the movie, don't know if I will just wait until the DVD comes out or not.

I don't think that i will see it in the theatre. I think that Anthony Hopkins made the movies and without him, I just don't think that It would be the same. He was so intense. I would be afraid of him if I was ever alone with himn. That's what kind of impact he has had on me. Although I did like the original Red Dragon Prequil to Silence of the Lambs. That had the guy form CSI in it. That was good.
We will probably get it on Netflix.

As long as there is a breath in my body,I will never see it. Still have nightmares from the first movie:scared1:

DH and I saw it yesterday. I was a bit disappointed. I was hoping for more of a psycholigical explanation - not a gore laden revenge fest.

I shall say no more...I don't want to be a spoiler.

I liked it. The guy who played Hannibal was very creepy, although I couldn't take my eyes off his luscious lips.

I just finished the book, which I found to be a fun read.

My dear husband gave me the advice "to look at the book and the movie as something separate from the others." Once I did that, it was good (not great, but I've read worse).

I will be waiting for the movie to come out on dvd. Not worth going to the movies for it, but very few are for me lately.

I really do want to see it, but I've used up my non-animated movie already this year. :rotfl2:

Seriously, I may try to arrange a date night next weekend. The critics have slammed it, which gives me some hope of actually liking it.

The previews look great and I loved SOTL. Not too crazy about Hannibal. This will be a renter for sure.

Although thematically it's right up my alley, I doubt that I'll spend the money to see it in theaters. I am, however, reading the book and so far, it's just ok. I think Thomas Harris should skip over all the flowery language and get on with it!

That's what I think. I catch myself thinking, "Blah blah blah, come on Hannibal!! Get on with the killin' and the eatin'!!!"

His little Madam is a weird one, isn't she?
