Hannah Montana Rules the World! TONS OF PICS, UPDATE 11/1!

First of all, I'm going to post a picture of HM sporting her new 'do. That ain't no long layer haircut and I should know since that's what I do! That's more like a 3 layer and he certainly won't be getting a tip for it!

If my kids want stuff that I think is frivilous I make them earn their own money for it and they like to go to Bob's pizza joint to make it. I mentioned before that is how she joined Mileyworld. She likes to go and fold the pizza boxes, fill dressing containers, ring out customers,etc. Coop just like to go on the deliveries with G-pa, cash in the POCKET, man! So the latest money making scheme is collecting the tomatoes in our garden, washing them and selling them to the pizza place for $5 a bag. They always need tomatoes and we have WAY more than we can eat so it's all good!

And the reward...

She's been saving for something we are doing on Wednesday. Don't worry, I'll be talking about that too. Whether or not anyone is listening...

It's great!

I have to comment on a few things...I LOVE Southwest. I refuse to fly any other airline if it can be avoided.

I have a cousin (who is my Goddaughter) who is SOOOO picky about clothes, just like your DD. I always try to buy her clothes for Christmas and her birthday, and I feel like it's a scavenger hunt to find anything for her! She hates all the cutesy clothes, but it seems like that's all they sell for kids that age!

As far as Tour Guide Mike...I agree, it's so overwhelming. There's just so much info there. I need to start looking at that more in depth.

You have a beautiful family. I love how Bella (such a girlie name) is a tomboy and knows what she likes/wants and goes for it. My Ash is a Hannah Montana fan, but I think Bella may take the cake as #1 fan!

I see we have some of the same places for ADR's so be watching for my reports when I get back.

OMG! I am on page 4 and just read about NYC! What a crazy day. BUT I am loving this pre trippie and can't wait to continue...that said, on I go!

I love that they earn their keep! But really, I wish I would have started something like that when my kids were younger. They do extra things for our home, as I put it, when they want some new toy or whatever but I applaud you on implementing it so early!

So 3 exciting things happened yesterday

1. I picked up my travel documents so it's all official! The kids already made me put the luggage tags on their suitcases yesterday.

2. The Coral Reef lady called me about doing a menu so I need to take care of that. The sign time slots are already filled up.

3. I took Bella and my niece to Club Libby Lu for the first time yesterday. It was SO much fun and Bella actually acted like a GIRL . She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time was even playing with the make-up when we got home. She's been saving up the money for a month (that's a whole lotta tomatoes!) i treated Lauryn for her birthday.

BTW, I love how you're teaching the kids that they need to earn some of their "wants".

I had the kids earn their own spending money for the trip. I figured their food is paid for, I am buying autograph books, mickey ears, and I have supplied pennies and quarters (will buy books to put them in) for pressed pennies. We discussed souvie money 15 months ago and I must say that I am proud of my babies! They each have saved (by doing extra chores, birthday money etc) between $10-20/per day to spend!

Something tells me though that they will be a little more careful with what they buy since it's their money and not mine!

I tell ya, I almost had tears in my eyes watching her. she's back her herslef now though I keep reading my travel papers, I know I can admit that here!

It was SO much fun! My niece is a to the max!


So I called Coral Reef and the diver slots are totally full but I can have the menu done so I emailed Debbi over there and am excited to see how it turns out. I also called Disney dining yesterday and had them note that I am celebrating my anniversary while there. It was actually yesterday but we didn't do anything since we want to wait till we are in Disney. 8 years and I love him more everyday

I ordered the personalized maps from Disney travel and am really excited to see how they look. Abbybeths look really cool and like she said "the price is right!" FREE, kinda like the dining! They had a cute thing in the travel section where you could pretend like you were driving a car and it asked you questions about your trip and told you about Disney. At the end it wanted your info and said to expect something special (or something like that) so I'm very curious as to what it is!

Oh, I went to Home Depot the other day and got some more MH and wrote my screen name on them to pass out.

Looks like you have everything under control for your upcoming trip! We got our personalized maps about a month ago for our upcoming trip in December and they're rally cool ... and really nice quality. My daughter wants me to frame them for her room, which will look great! What do you mean the diver slots are full? Were you trying to go scuba diving through DiveQuest? I didn't think the slots filled up so quickly. Looking forward to more updates ... Congrats on your anniversary!
