Hannah Montana and her underwear

There did that get your attention??? Seriously, my kids' friend told them that Disney is dropping Hannah Montana because she was taking off her underwear at her concerts and swearing. Is there any truth to that? This is one of the least annoying tween shows on Disney Channel and I was hoping it was sticking around. Plus she is HUGE as far as popularity.

Someone give me the real scoop.

I think IF that were happening it would be all over the internet. I think she is a cute kid and I hope she makes good decisions. We have enough Britney wannabes out there. I know DD likes her stuff, the little she has seen and heard.

I don't think your kid's friend has the real scoop. Hannah Montana is the biggest cash cow for Disney right now. She and her dad were on TV this week apologizing for not wearing seatbelts in a film they shot that was in movie theaters recently (and probably still is - I heard it was extended) but I think Miley is keeping her panties on for now.

If you check out ONTD there have been posts of pictures of her from her private myspace of her in her undies. But I haven't seen or read anything about Disney dumping her show.

Google up Grammy party pictures (you will see some black sequiny thing) and it is short.

As for the TV show, I haven't heard a peep about any new episodes to film. The ones that are being shown is pre concert tour.

I would not be suprised if the show is put on back burner so she can concentrate on her music career since right now Disney is making more $$ on that.

Okay, well I also told my kids that regarding the music tour etc. Plus there are no new shows anywhere these days other than the ones that were held back in the fall.

I did hear the deal about the after party stuff but that is not what the kids heard about.

As far as I know they are NOT cancelling Hannah Montana. Miley is starting to film the Hannah Montana Disney Channel Movie in Nashville pretty soon. But if it does get cancelled I think I'll be physed because more time for J.O.N.A.S. But don't ask how I know all this. I don't even like Hannah Montana, Destiny Hope, Miley Ray, whatever her name is...

I know my friends and I took some pics that probably weren't "appropriate" for our age, but you know what? No one gave a crap, b/c we weren't famous.

I don't think it's healthy or appropriate to criticize every little thing that celebrities do....especially as kids.

She seems like a decent kid and her family is a great support system that helps keep her grounded.

That is certainly the way it always seems.

I did find a story where Disney said it was totally untrue that she was being cancelled and that the spokesperson quoted in articles on the internet does not exist. At least at Disney.

No, I do not (not yet anyway) but I was 15 at one time.
