The first photo ... her arm is at such a funny angle. It looks lik she was taking that photo herself. The second photo, she obviously took herself. It would be my guess ... esp. w/the 2nd photo ... that she had no intentions of these photo being leaked to the public. Makes you wonder who grabbed Miley's camera and sold the photos!??!

Anyway, she's not revealing anything more than what she'd reveal in a swimsuit. Her underwear is not much shorter than a bikini bottom. Would everyone be in an "uproar" if she were posing that way in a swimsuit as opposed to underwear?!

What's the diff. in underwear and a swimsuit? She's not showing anything more than most of us have seen on most 15 yo girls at the beach.

I agree, I don't think the photos are in any way alarming and I also don't think they were intended for the public. I kind of think it's endearing, it shows how she is just like any other girl her age, trying to have a 'look'. There is not a 15 yo girl alive that doesn't want to sometimes appear 'sultry'. Totally normal for teen girls.

FWIW, I have a 14 yo DD at home...and a 21 yo DD. This is much ado about nothing, IMHO.

While her skirts are very short, she tends to wear bicycle shorts underneath them....it is the "in style" at DD10school (although given this cold winter, they are wearing the long leggings instead- will switch back to the bike shorts in the spring).

It is kind of a youthful look AS LONG as the bike shorts are on underneath. If not, it would be a definite "tramp" look......be thankful she is not dressing like a true high schooler- tight, tight tops, low cut jeans (I should NOT be able to identify the type of thong you are wearing when you bend over!), etc......it is a constant battle with my DD16 regarding how much should be covered when going out to the coffee house with friends.....and at least Miley isn't "goth"- while she obviously should invest in stock from the makeup company to get back some of the money she is spending, at least she alone isn't supporting the mascara line as some of my DD16's friends appear to be! She actually appears to be a fairly level headed and normal 15 year old high school girl!

Just looked at those photos on the link....those are NOT Miley (the news reported this). If you look closely, these are photoshopped. The eyes in the second picture are even TWO DIFFERENT colors.....these photos have been debunked!

As far as I know they are NOT cancelling Hannah Montana. Miley is starting to film the Hannah Montana Disney Channel Movie in Nashville pretty soon. But if it does get cancelled I think I'll be physed because more time for J.O.N.A.S. But don't ask how I know all this. I don't even like Hannah Montana, Destiny Hope, Miley Ray, whatever her name is...

She actually legally changed it to Miley Cyrus last month.

I feel bad for her.

IMHO, the bikini photos (alone and with her friends) are fine and no big deal.

The photos in her underwear are poor judgement (or fake, who knows) as someone could see them someday, but they still aren't that bad.

The photos taken with her girlfriend are, IMHO, taken out of context and they (perez hilton0 are just trying to make them/her something out of nothing.

Okay, well I also told my kids that regarding the music tour etc. Plus there are no new shows anywhere these days other than the ones that were held back in the fall.

I did hear the deal about the after party stuff but that is not what the kids heard about.

There are no new shows because of the writers strike but since that is over now I suppose there will be some new HM shows soon.

I'm glad to hear that these pictures are fake. I don't think they are appropriate for "public" viewing but I wasn't born yesterday and know that teens will be teens. And, yes, without the seductive pose, she is covering more than the average teen wears to the beach.

That being said, I REALLY, REALLY hope that she is able to have a life outside the public view. She is going to do things, some good, and some not so good, but if she wasn't famous we wouldn't know about it (or care). If her father is teaching her anything, I hope that it's, although she needs to be a teen in every sense of the word, she is going to have to find a way to do it in private and I hope he does everything he can to help her accomplish that!

I'm kind of glad because they're really not that bad. I'm just surprised.

You didn't see them all over the news because they were deemed fake immediately after they came out. You can tell by looking at them that they are photoshopped.
