Handleless Mugs?

I won't be able to use the mug without a handle. My hands are clawed from arthritis and I can't close my grip around a cup safely.

Am I allowed to bring one of my old mugs from home, purchase a new one and fill it, then pour it into the old mug with the handle? I don't mind spending whatever I have to, I just need to be able to use a mug that I can actually pick up. Or does anyone have another idea? I'm staying for 10 days and there's no way I'm waiting in line for buying a drink separately five times a day.

If you already have a rapid refill mug I'm pretty sure they can re-activate it for your current stay.
If you don't, I'm sure there won't be any issue with you buying a mug, filling it and then poring the contents into one with handles.

I prefer the mugs with handles, they are more convenient, BUT, I ca see some use for mugs without handles. I wish they would offer both...

If I am not mistaken, the only way I could tell the cups apart when they had the lid removed, was by the color of the handle.

This is so true, and a great point. It will make the job harder for the person in charge of getting everyone's refills in the morning.

And a PP said you can reactivate an old handled cup, has anyone tried this? Is it true?

S/n: Did anyone else have trouble with smells from the cup when switching between coffee, tea and soda during the trip? We would all wash out our cups and use soap, but for a few of the cups there was a distinctive odor that didn't go away until we were home and used the dishwasher. Going again in September and am trying to avoid having to pack the vinegar and super Dawn.
