Does anyone know if it is possible to get a 2 bedroom lockoff or dedicated where only one of the bathrooms is handicap accessible and the other bathroom (preferably the master bath) is not?

To my knowledge it is all or nothing.

Interesting, I had the opposite impression. I had understood that in a 2BR lockoff, you were likely to get just what the OP was looking for, a roll-in shower in the studio portion and the regular master bath with jacuzzi in the 1BR section. Tho our 6 yr old DS is wheelchair bound, we do not yet need a roll-in shower.

Can anyone who has stayed in a HC accessible 2BR illuminate this matter for us? I guess I am most interested in our "home" at BWV, but info on others would be helpful too.

Thx

SueMN over on the disABILITIES forum knows more about this but I think that ChuckS is right.

We're in the same situation as you pumpkinboy. Our DD needs the rollin shower. We've had a lockout at VB and a dedicated 2BR at BCV with her along and in both cases, the shower in both bathrooms were rollins. However in both cases we also had the jacuzzi tub in the master BR which takes care of needing a tub for other little ones (we're past that ourselves but I like the jacuzzi tub myself :sunny: )!

Both rooms were very nice and I found no problems having the master bathroom accessible too.

All master baths, 1 bedroom or larger units, HC or not, have the jacuzzi. It is the freestanding shower stall that is modified to a roll-in.

We have stayed at OKW several times in a 2 BR handicap villa. To my knowledge the villas are lockoffs and the studio is accessible bathroom wise(ie. rollin shower) I think this is the only way they come.

Great. Glad to have my misconceptions corrected. Knowledge is power, and it's good to have power:teeth:

I heard my name, but others already had posted the answer, so I'll just agree.
If you are in a one bedroom or up, you still have the jacuzzi in the master bathroom. The count I had gotten for OK from MS indicates that there is apparently one dedicated fully wheelchair accessible 2 bedroom and the rest are lock-offs.
