Handicap Rooms at Pop

We're going to be staying at Pop Dec 28-Jan 4. I might be in a scooter, because of a knee problem. I requested a handicap room without a roll-in shower, because I'll need to rest my knee and take baths. When I called to have this request put on my reservation they told me they didn't have handicap rooms w/o roll in showers. Yet, I think I've stayed in one before. Does anyone know if they do have rooms without roll in showers, or am I remembering a different resort.

you are correct.
There are 2 kinds of handicapped rooms in all resorts. One kind has a roll in shower. The other kind has grab bars for the tub and you can get a shower bench/chair from Housekeeping if you need one.

This could also be a language problem. Also remember that you are going at a busy time and they may have run out of the tub type of rooms though unlikely since there are a lot more tub rooms than roll in showers.

They may mean:
The hotel only has roll in showers, which is wrong.
That the only available rooms have roll in showers.

I will now put the car in reverse and go back to the restaurant for breakfast, lol. The wonders of the english language.
