Hand luggage with a toddler

If the restrictions for liquid medicines are still in place why not try some of the homeopathic teething remedies that come in granule or instantly disolving pills rather than nurofen/calpol.

Having worked in child care for 10 years and having an 8 year old I can tell you that they are very often far more effective for teething pain than nurofen/calpol. All Boots stock them as well as some Mothercare branches.

Your 23 month old does count as a baby and therefore you would be able to take milk for him.

Thankyou for the advice. I have got some Nelson's teething granules but when he has taken it in the past, I'm not sure they did much good - his mood certainly didn't change as it does with calpol/nurofen. Saying that I perhaps didn't give them a fair shot so I will try them again - certainly worth a try. The only thing with using calpol/nurofen on the plane, is it does have the added side effect of making him drowsy and therefore more likely to take his nap (particularly important for the night flight home). I would be grateful if you know of any homeopathic granules or pills that have that effect and could give me the details. Mind you was also working on the basis that general pain relief nurofen/calpol (paracetamol) will also help reduce pain he may experience in his ears from air pressure changes.
Anywho, thanks for the advice and if you have any further advice I would be grateful.
