Hampton Inn GA

I need a room for the driver down. The Hampton in in Richmond Hill or the Hampton Inn in Savannah. Anyone have any opinions or can recommend another hotel. Looking for something clean, with a free breakfst and a nice pool for the kids. Also somewhere good to eat for dinner close by.

Richmond Hill is fine, we've stayed there twice--clean and safe. Savannah is a bit out of the way if I recall.

The Hampton Inn, Bluffton, SC(exit 8) is beautiful, clean and fairly new. Hot and cold breakfast buffet is included. This is not far from Savanah. We would stay there again.

Like Ducklite, I stayed numerous times at the Hampton Inn in Richmond Hill, Georgia. I think it's exit 87 right off I-95. I picked the hotel based on good reviews here, and it's in a good spot for me to stop on the way to Disney. When I was there in May, my room in the Hampton Inn had those super white fluffy beds (ever see that "bedhead" commercial? ) - those beds were soooo comfortable!! I traveled solo and I felt safe there. The breakfast was fine, too. There is a pool, but I never went in it. But overall, it's a nice place for a night's stay.

Except once I never had a problem at Hampton Inn. That one time they tripped over themselves to rectify it and on top of that didn't charge for the night. I use them all the time. By the way they are part of the Hilton family.
