Hampton Inn, Courtyard or Doubletree Hotel near the Port??

Hi everyone. We are flying in the day before our cruise in January '04. I have done some research, I have been to Dave's DCL tribute site, Castaway Club and to Florida's Space Coast website and have narrowed it down to these three properties. The problem is, I can not make up my mind

Any opinions to help us make the decision??

We were going to look into staying at the Raddsion, but the reservation system says no rooms available.

The online reservation system for the Radisson Resort at the Port, Cape Canaveral, says "no rooms available," but that's only because they have not yet loaded most 2004 dates into the system. If you call the hotel directly, there's plenty of availability.

However, I picked the Courtyard by Marriott. It's a few miles further south that the Radisson, but it's a short walk to the beach. If you call the Courtyard directly, you can arrange a booking that includes a free shuttle to the Disney Cruise Terminal.

Does the Courtyard also allow you to park your car there for the week? My parents have points at Courtyard and are looking into staying there the night before the cruise.

Yes, the Courtyard allows you to park your car if you're on the cruise rate.

Hi, we're going in June and staying at the courtyard. Our rate is $99 for the night. You have to ask for the the cruise deal. They will also provide a shuttle to and from the port. They have a certain time that they start the shuttle. I asked if you can request an earlier time and they said yes. We decided on this one because it was close to the beach. Have fun!
