I was just coming on to see if anyone had posted this!! I'm so happy that I am in the habit of checking Amazon before I order from anywhere else because I was just about to get it from Walmart because they have it for $49.99 this week. Soooo happy about $34.99 though!! Yeah!

Now I just need to find a Skylander Giants deal and my day will be made!

Actually, after posting I checked Amazon for the Skylanders and they have the starter pack for $64.99. I then cheated a little, got the $5 off $25 facebook coupon on Dh's facebook and logged into his Amazon account to buy. Sooooo.....I ended up getting the starter pack for $59.99. I really only needed the portal owners pack ( which sells for $59.99 ) but this way I got an extra portal and the figures. I'm happy this morning.

Thank you so much for posting this. I had preordered it and got it over a month ago as a Christmas gift for my son at the $59 price. I had not opened it yet. So i emailed Amazon and said if I had bought it a local retailer I would have returned it and bought at the new price. What could they do for me? I got an email back that they'd credit me the $19.01 difference! I would never have known about the new price since I'm not shopping for that game anymore.
