We're going on 10/3 ~ I'll wearing a white witch hat with black polka dots that I got at the Dept. 56 store in DTD a few weeks ago and DH2B will be wearing the Mickey Bat ears, which are a little too small but he looks SO cute in! LOL

We are also doing the Peter Pan theme on the 16th also. My almost 4 year old daughter is Wendy. My 2 year old son is Hook. My husband is Peter pan and I am Tink. We cannot wait.

I've never done the party before but from what I understand they actually close California Adventure. Then you have to line up again to get in before your party time. I've heard people say they get there anywhere from 15-40 minutes early to wait in the lines by the letters in front of the entrance.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

I've never done the party before but from what I understand they actually close California Adventure. Then you have to line up again to get in before your party time. I've heard people say they get there anywhere from 15-40 minutes early to wait in the lines by the letters in front of the entrance.

As I remember it (gone every year), they close DCA, then reopen it for the Halloween Party. The line does get long, but it moves fast. I have attended the MNSSHP at WDW and I liked the way run it there. We could go in during the day and get the wrist colored bands to keep us in the park for the Halloween event. We were able to have dinner just before the start of MNSSHP and then join the fun. We stored our costumes in a locker. Can you believe they still use the old fashion kind of keys for their lockers? You know the kind with the bright orange plastic tops. I was sooo shocked. I laughed!

My mom hasn't been to Disneyland in about 20 years. We used to take a road trip from Colorado to Disney every year when I was a kid, and she hasn't been back since those days. It will be so much fun to have her there with us this time.

That's so great. I love that she agreed to be Tiger Lily! Anything for the Grandkids right? LOL Now you really do need a Crocodile for it to be complete.
I think it's neat she'll be there again after so long. Sounds like it's going to be a very special trip.

I'm new here at the DIS! but we just decided yesterday to take a last minute trip and we are here at the Hilton and I got tickets for Friday! So we will be there

Me, DH and DS2. I bought DS a pirate costume from WOD today, but then found a super cute monkey at Target so bought that that. I'm still trying to decide! He looks soooo freakin cute in both. DH thinks the monkey one might be too hot. I have no clue Part of me wants him to wear the monkey because I'm sure this is the last year I am going to be also to persuade him what to be and he won't want anything "cutesy" anymore.

I am so excited because we are going!!!! I think on the 24th near my birthday.

If I can pull it together since I just came up with the idea I might be the White Witch from Narnia or I might just be my standard pirate since I have that already. But again I have so many costumes who knows what I will pull out!!

BTW 90% of why I want to go is the chance to dress up and go to the parks hehehe!!

I say go for the pirate!! It may be too hot for the monkey!!! Enjoy it!! It will be a nice escape from our AZ heat!
