OK I will wear it then, maybe with leggings under it..maybe not... I was thinking about the various CM costumes as well, and I saw a pic of the Halloween parade last year and their dresses look just as short.. and as you mentioned the HSM crew as well.

Okay so I was going as Tinkerbell, but I thought that I might have a problem with the wings and don't really want to wear a dress... So I dug out some of my old Dance team costumes from highschool and I found a really cute leopard costume so I am going as a cat/leopard!!

We just received or t-shirts from Disney Shopping (they actually are made through Zazzle). They are SOOO cute! We're not dressing up in costumes, but did get custom t-shirts. DS has a skeleton Mickey that says "Trick or Treat" on the front and "BOO!!" on the back in a scary font. Mine is Minnie Mouse in a witch costume with the same words. I may get the Minnie Mouse ears that are a headband instead of a beanie (hate hats!!).

Apparently the weekend we're going is going to be super busy. I tried to switch hotels (I am terrible for doing that!!) but everything is sold out - not even just the AP7 rate, but rack rates too. Poop! And the MTOTP is sold out on the 17th as well.....

3 days until we get to party! My group of 11 is ready for some no too scary fun!

Steve and I are excited too! He's coming tomorrow (he has a dentist's appt. here in Orange County) and will stay over, then I will go to work Fri morning and come home early and we're off! We are staying at the GCH and having dinner with Tink33 and Mary Jo! (Don't know where yet!) Then off to the party.

Now the real question: I just don't think I am going to get our t-shirts done in time . . . .sigh . . . .(I hate it when life gets in the way of fun!)

My family of 4 will be going on the 23rd. Sorry to see that not very many DISers will going on the same day. But I understand. It is a Thursday after all. My kid's school district has the week off. I will probably run into a lot of Venturians that weekend.
We check in at GCH on the 23rd and leave on the 25. Just can't wait to see the park decked out for Halloween.

Even my DH is starting to say, "I wish I was at the Grand Californian." or "I wish I was on the Haunted Nightmare Ride right now" And he really doesn't like to go. We usually hit the parks once a month, but haven't been able to go since August. I'm getting such a longing for Disneyland. I thought I would get tired of Disney after our trip to WDW last June, but no I just want to get back to the Land. Three more weeks!! Three weeks too long. I am tempted to go next Thursday. VenturaUSD took the 9th and 10th off, too. (You would think there was no learning going on with the schools in the VUSD!) But I want to make our mini-trip more exciting... so I will wait.
