Halloween

In '03 we went to our first MNSSHP on Halloween, and it was wonderful! We weren't able to stay "home" because we had just closed, but we were at the Dolphin. The weather was wonderful, shorts were fine for the parks at night, we went swimming. The party was sold out, but we still walked on things like Mickey's Philharmagic.

Yes we were there for Halloween in 2003. It was an awesome adventure. Being from Wisconsin we thought the weather was terrific. My DH wants to do Halloween at Disney each year. We purchased our additional tickets months out for the night we wanted to attend the party. I am so happy we did. The halloween parade was spectacular. Cant wait to do Halloween at Disney again.

We spent Oct 31 in the MK in '99 and '01. Had a great time and terrific weather both times----it was around mid to upper 60's both nights. The park is all spooked-out and the castle is an eerie purple color that changed to orange periodically. Loved the Headless Horseman---we watched the parade from Frontierland in '99 and from Liberty Square in '01. In '99 we had the "haunted" dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern which was fun. The CM's/servers were dressed like the maids and butlers from the HM. Have fun if you decide to go.

We stayed at the BWV for Halloween 2001, and this year we'll be at the BCV -- same time of year. I can't wait. The Halloween party is wonderful! There's nothing quite like the clatter of the Headless Horseman's hooves as he goes flying by at the beginning of the parade. Of course, the Food & Wine Festival is pretty neat, too. It's just a great time of year to go.

We also went to MNSSHP on Halloween last year '03. It was a blast. One tip I would share is that if you are going on Halloween, get your tickets early. Also call as soon as possible for dinner reservations if you are planning to eat in the park since they fill up really fast. We wanted to try to dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, but couldn't get the PS since I didn't call early enough. We still had a blast and the weather was terrific!

:earsgirl: I have been to disney every year since 1999 for halloween, and LOVE it. DH and both DD (3 & 8) LOVE it as well. The weather is not too hot and the halloween party is great...especially the trick-or-treating. I would highly recommend a Halloween disney trip!!!!

We've attended MNSSHP on Halloween in 2000 and 2003 and loved it. I'll agree with wisbucky that as a northerner, I really appreciated the warm weather at the end of October!

The atmosphere in the park is great and even the party sells out on Halloween, I've thought that the crowds have been very manageable.

How early can you purchace tickets for the party?

Update - I found out from another post that tickets should go on sale in April.
