Halloween?

Anyone had a halloween trip? If so is it good / better than other times of the year?
We went for the first time in June this year and kids are dying to go back but trying to think how to make the next trip different.
Have done wdw at halloween a few years ago which was brill, they had a special mickeys halloween evening, do they do anything additional like that at dlp?
Priced it up and it's double what it would cost us to go in June!

We are booked to go for the first time this Halloween. They are not doing Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parties again this year so the only party is the main Halloween event on the 31st.

They've also confirmed there will be a Halloween themed cavalcade a few times a day plus meet and greets with villains!

We went last October (22nd - 25th I think or there abouts) and theres a Jack and Sally meet and greet plus we met loads of Villains at the back of the Castle.
There was a stage show at the Castle Stage that was on last year but isn't this year.
Main St had some ghost statues out and some decorations up too. Its a nice additional extra to a normal trip (we went midweek and it was lovely and quiet) but I don't know if it would be so much a draw to me as reason solely to book the trip. That said we do return in early October and I am very excited.

Thanks for the replies. Doesn't sound like its worth booking specially to go at halloween then, not considering its a lot more expensive than normal. Disappointing they don't have any sort of special mickeys party.
