If Halloween 2016 falls on Monday, October 31st is it safe to assume the first Christmas party would be that Friday, November 4th?

I wouldn't expect it to be that soon, no. Typically it's 7 days between the last Halloween party and the first Christmas party.

We're going that week and after looking at dates for previous years, I don't think it would be until the following week. We have our DVC reservation through the 5th and I'm either going to add a value for another 3 or 4 days (I guess we could maybe stay at Universal for a few days) or go visit friends in Tampa and then drive back over for the first Christmas party whenever that is.

In 2015, the last MNNSHP was on Sunday Nov 1 and the 1st MVMCP was Sunday, Nov 8. The pattern in November was Sun, Tues, Thu & Fri with the exception of Thanksgiving week which had no parties. In 2014 the last MNNSHP was Friday Oct 31 and the 1st MVMCP was Friday Nov 7.

In 2016, the last MNNSHP will probably be on Monday Oct 31. Since both 2014 and 2015 allow 7 days between the last MNNSHP & MVMCP, I wouldn't expect the 1st MVMCP until Monday Nov 7.

That all makes sense. Thanks for the help everyone.
