Have just bought my tickets for the MNSSHP and have a few questions as I have never been before. Just wondered where exactly you get your free photo taken and where do you collect your trick and treat bags from, oh and finally are you allowed into the park with you halloween tickets before 7pm. Sorry if these are trivial questions. :grouphug:

These are not trivial questions! You can normally enter from about 5pm (check the boards after the first party for first hand reports of this). When you enter you are given your trick or treat bag. Photos are at several locations & are marked on your MNSSHP guide map. When we went in 2003, we had ours taken at It's a small world & only waited about 5mins. Any other questions, let us know

How many trick or treat bags do you get I am taking 3 children?

Hi Angel659 & orlando novice

You get one trick or treat bag per person - even adults!!!!

I had sooooo much fun!!

Have a great time!!

I am really looking for to this night, are the crowds smaller than usual? If you enter about 5pm what do they do with you when they are decorating the park.

The crowds are smaller because they limit the numbers. The park is decorated as if by magic by the time they get everyone out from the day and you can enter. I thought it was 6 from memory, but I may be wrong.

There are usually a couple of places to get your photo taken, and they do mail the pic to you in the UK. Also you can get hot chocolate with marshmallow and cookies.

Some of the characters are dressed in special Halloween costumes and there are plenty of photo ops so take plenty of film!

Also - do dress up - even if it is only orange ear-rings or stuff in your hair. All the children do and plenty of adults as well:). It''s a great fun night.

I cant wait I am so excited. I wanted to dress up as Lily out of the Munsters but I am too big to be able to get the dress  I think I will dress up as a witch. Casey is going as a devil. I am not sure about my twin boys and my husband is still deciding. I have not booked the tickets yet so going to call them to find out the price and if they have any left.

I would advise not getting your photo done at the front of the park ,as these tend to be the busiest, they do them all night so it's no rush.I would disagree that the crowds are smaller,if you are comparing MNSSHP party to during the day -Sept/Oct then they are busier. On our last visit I think Space Mountain was up to 90 mins compared to 30/40 mins during the day. This was the first weekend & I've heard it gets busier the closer you get to Halloween!
There is loads to see & do & you will never manage to fit it all in in 5 hours! If you go in early, the CM's will move you to Tommorrow land at park closing so that they can get all those without wrist bands out of the park.
Only other bit of advice-get some insect repellant,we got eaten alive waiting for our photos with Minnie & Mickey down in Toon town!!

If you enter at around 5pm, you are hered to tomorrowland between 6 & 7 whilst the clear the park of non party goers & transform the park with pumpkins etc. When we did this a couple of years ago, we did all the rides in tomorrowland before the party started (Including CoP which was open). Trick or treating started here before the party, but the queue was long, as was the queue for the photo.

Some people have said that you can get into MK as early as 4pm using your MNSSHP tickets! Best to arrive early as there is always a huge crowd at 7pm (the official start time for the party!) ;)

Our photos are usually delivered before we even get home from vacation, shame that DD (who was 13 months old at the time) fell asleep while we waited in the queue for our family photo! :rotfl:

I would arrive early, especially if you want to do rides as well as the stuff unique to the party. Queues were practically non existant in the holding area, Buzz was a walk on, 5 mins for space mountain. It also means you're ready to go as soon as pos. & hit photo stands etc. ASAP. Many of the characters are dressed up & Cindy's coach has been out & we got a lovely shot of the 2 girls infront of the coach with no-one else around because we hit fantasy land as soon as the party started (Cindy's coach was at the back of the castle).

If you go into the park during the day, do you have to go out & come back in again???
e.g. go to MK at 11am, can we stay through or would we go out at 4pm & come back in if we wanted to arrive early??
Hope that makes sense!!!

Just wondered what sort of time you got there?
