No clue, I imagine the computer shoots out thousands of things on the weekend. Even with it being mailed out Monday.....I still should receive it today......at least I better!!!

Good wishes! My girlfriend is aggravated too. It seems there is no rhyme or reason in them being able to tell you what is going on with "Your" refund. Even if they are done processing the paperwork, then it takes time to process the check. Hopefully now that the deficit is resolved temporarily the checks will be issued post haste!

That is our government at work. I am sure that it is a privacy issue. The customer service people that man the phone probably do not have access to that information due to law suits or such or it is to save them from the anger that may be directed towards them over something that is beyond their control.

But they were told within 45 days right???? You would think they could tell you when to expect it.....not just, "whenever"......... You'd think since they're paying interest, they'd want to get these sent out.....they're just costing themselves more money....ridiculous!!!!!

Thanx Lori.....I'm just very frustrated at this point. So many things hinge on that money....right now we're no longer on a lease so our rent has gone up $200 a month......not really something we have. We want to move but can't until we have the money to get out of here & have deposits, etc. Also if the money doesn't come soon....the trip is getting cancelled with no new dates in sight. Mike had to fight to get that week & there's nothing available for him thru the end of the year. Besides, I'd be way disappointed if that happened!!

Laurie, My daughter lives right behind us. We can have an invite sent from same person and hers might be here day or two before mine or vise versa. Go figure. Also say your reg carrier is on vacation so a sub will deliver -- but deliver less another go figure LOL. My GF is/ now was a carrier for 30 + years. She shared a few secrets. She was our carrir for 8-10 years. The Post office then decided to rotate carriers-- ya that was a bright idea--- no. Some need me to put them out of their misery-- it sure shows they hate their job LOL.

Remember while in IRS hands you have no control over matters. Not to worry there is some correspondence coming soon. Don't cancel the trip -- it should be here soon . Then you can do the money tree dance .

How are the twins doing? Are Addy and Anthony happy school is almost here? Have not heard about the kids in a while -- so thought I would ask .

I sure hope this guy isn't gonna be our regular mailman.....my mail has seemed extremely thin since he took over.....that always makes me nervous!

Addy & Anthony have been enjoying the sunshine....playing with the neighbors in the sprinklers & wading pool. They're home in the morning, out playing all afternoon & then absolutely driving me bonkers in the evenings......lol Wouldn't have it any other way!!

I don't think they're even thinking about school yet......I know I'm not. So not much talk about it.
