Happy 4th to you as well, Laurie!
How was your fourth of July?
That sounds like fun. I had a good fourth too.
Wow, that is sure a lot of fireworks
Looks like a great show

Looks like the kids all had a Fab Time!
So it was warm, thats good!
It's 99 here today in Northern Nevada!
Fireworks are outlawed here, but they had a nice show over the marina last night.. I didn't go. I have to get up too early so I'm in bed by 9pm!![]()
I actually know where your brother bought those-- that silly guy. I did that one year to I had so many that I sold some for cost to friends. Oh, Ya I was their favorite for a long time. Thinking of going back up there -- to my place to buy fireworks-- next year.
The one year I got so many we had 4 guys setting off displays almost full time starting at just before dusk to about midnight. The whole block was over watching and enjoying. Neighbors lined lawn chairs up on street then would rate the display like the olympics
Place where I bought my displays had guards with semi-auto and guns similar to machine guns. I was actually a bit scared walking into the bunker. Oh the good old days. I call it being young and dumb LOL but sure makes for some good memories.
Oh ya the 4 guys actually ran out of pumps for lighting and went to matches and then ran out of those. Funniest part was they were all -- well they looked like they had been in a fire -- they were all black and gray. Their faces we covered with ash and black powder. They were all grown men about 35-40 years old.
I am thrilled the twins had such a good time. I bet the two older kids loved setting off the safe fireworks. Grand kids loved the sparklers and poppers. Their dad spent near $50.00 and really got hardly anything. Hence the trip to get the big boy displays.
We had a bear sighting Monday night in our neighbor hood. Actually just 4 -5 houses down the hill from us. The have set some traps. hope they get it and move it to the mountains.
Well best get stuff done around here. I have been lazy lately.
Yep, Laurie sounds like the "good" ones we had to. We had some that year that were 3 or 4 feet tall. The guys did put on a show. I think back on it now and wonder what were we all thinking -- young and dumb just has to explain it.
Not sure if bear has been caught. I was not happy we were not notified of the situation when sheriff first saw the bear. I live 2 miles from town. We live just out of city limits so we are not "country" rural. Actually very populated area with lots of kids that play outside, some even in the trees behind houses.
Are you still thinking of moving?
hope you have a good morning. Gotta be loving this weather, although I did need to turn the air on yesterday.
Bye bye for now.
Okay Laurie... I tried posting here the other day and my post went POOF! :confused
I hope you get your check soon! It's always refunds that take forever but there are at your door if you owe them money!!
Good luck on the job search for Mike! We are actually looking at moving OUT of CA! It is way TOO expensive and CROWDED! We are restricted on where we can go due to my MIL health insurance though...
I have my AP and I am planning on going to the first 2 Halloween parties... if you want we can discuss my purchasing your tickets for the Monday Party when you get your refund and you would save a few $$ I don't think there is any discount on the Friday party...
