Halloween Party question

I see lots of posts about not needing a regular admission ticket if planning on going to the party. You just need the Halloween Party ticket and can get in early.

However, we have already purchased park hopper tickets and one of the days we will be there is a night that is closed for the Halloween Party. Does our Park Hopper ticket give us admission to the Party or do we need to buy an additional ticket?

On party days the park closes to the general public at either 6 or 7 pm depending on the day. In order to attend the party you need a party ticket which allows you to enter the park at 3 or 4 pm .. again depending on the day. You may purchase party tickets on the Disneyland web site on this page.

You will need to buy a separate ticket for the Halloween Party. Since the party ticket allows you in 3 hours before the party starts, many people choose to use that as one of their park days and get an extra day out of their parkhopper. Also, the party ticket includes parking.

Your park hopper will get you into the parks from park opening through 6 or 7 PM (whenever the party starts). Then you have to leave Disneyland, but you can go over to DCA until DCA closes.

To go to the party, you will need to buy a separate admission ticket that gives you admittance to Disneyland from 3 PM - 11 PM (or 4 PM - midnight on Fridays).

So a lot of people (like me) will not enter the parks that day until 3-4 PM, and not use a day of their park hopper that day. If it's in the middle of your trip, a day off can give you a rest. But since you already have your admission, that probably doesn't help you.

Sorry ...yes it is a separate ticket. If you wish attend the party and also enter the park on a party day before the party entry time then you would have to use one of your days on your regular park ticket and of course use your party ticket at party time.
