I know this may be a stretch for the camping board...but we are going in a couple of weeks and will be camping for our 4th time at the fort in the fifth wheel. We have 10 day no expiration passes still associated with our magic bands and have purchased tickets to the Halloween party.
Question is, we are planning to enter the magic kingdom at 4pm using the party tickets (which we have done many times in the last 6 years) but, I played with the system and got some fastpass plus before the 7pm closing for the party. Do you think the system will automatically take a full day admission if we use the magic bands and use the fastpass+?
We have the tickets for the party and will use them to enter regardless...just wondering if anyone else has tried this?

Do not want to 'waste' a full days admission for just for a couple of rides we can go on any time at the party...

Anyone else have this question?

Not sure on that one Tinman694. We have party tickets as well, but have made plans to get the girls dressed up that morning at the BBB at the Castle so those will be their costumes for the party later that evening. I went ahead and booked some FPs for that day, mainly in the morning since we won't be worrying about rides once the party starts. I think if you enter on the party tickets you have to wait until at least 4 oclock to come in. Before that my understanding is you will have to use the MBs to get in which will count as one of your park days. At least, that is my understanding from what I have read on the boards and the Disney website.

My suggestion is to call and ask, then hang up and call again and ask someone different, then call again. Take the best two out of three since sometimes the person you talk to doesn't always have the right information.

Just my .02

You can book FPs between 4:00 and 6:30 using your party tickets if you did not book FPs for earlier in the day using your 10 day no expiration tickets. From Mesaboy's comprehensive FP+ thread:

FP+ cannot be scheduled during hard-ticket party events such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Night of Joy, or Villains Unleashed. However, party tickets can be used for scheduling FP+ during the typical 3-hour "grace period" from 4:00p to 7:00p usually associated with these events. These FPs are not "extra" and on top of 3 other prebooked FPs that a guest may already have scheduled that day using a regular park ticket--the maximum of 3 FPs in any one day still applies.

Mesaboy's FP+ thread:

And a tip on when to schedule the FPs in post 1921:

Appreciate the replies. Will take a closer look at the links purple figment provided.

Looking forward to another fun visit to the fort in a few weeks!

We are going to the party on Sunday and I was concerned about this, but we were sent hard tickets for the event separate from our Magic Bands. I did schedule FP's but only during the grace period since we won't go in until then.

Can not wait to see what MNSSHP has in store for us this year. :D

This is why I posted on the camping board since we do not follow many of the other boards closely. Also tried to do a search specifically on using FP+ and Hard ticket party and got very mixed results. We have used a party entry instead of a full park day for many years (and always gone in at 4pm with the party ticket) and have not been since the implementation of Fastpass+. Its fun to have a late morning breakfast and enjoy the day and then go to the party. Hope to get some kicking it at the fort photos.

I have a similar case. I just booked last night at my 60 day mark and have 6 day tickets, MVMCP tickets, and 1 day left on an old non exp tickets all linked to my MDE account. I am having the hard party tickets and hard 6 day passes sent to me. I was able to book 6 days of FP's as well as the night of the party. I also checked and it will allow me to make an 8th day of FP's if I want to, but we plan on keeping the old non exp tickets on our MDE account (we have to have the prioritize the order our first day at the park and have the put the non exp ticket last) However the night of the party my first FP is between 305 and 405p, there should be a grace period I think of 10 min after so we will have to hustle if we want to make it, I don't think they cancel the rest of your FP's if you miss the first one. I plan on using the hard party ticket as admission to be safe and only use the MB's for the FP's

We, too, have non- expiring tickets, but intend to purchase APs next trip. As a trial run, for the MNSSHP that we have tickets for, I just booked FP+ for the 4:00-6:30 time slot, then reassigned the non-activated non- expiring to others in our family not going. The FP reservations were still there. I know activated non-expiring tickets can't be reassigned, but the can be deactivated. You can try that route, then have them placed active when you are going to the parks again.
