Halloween (Michael Myers) Movies

Yes. Halloween 6 is the last of the original timeline before the crazy AU universe. Then the new trilogy completes that story. They have plans for a separate spin-off in the future but no one knows what it will be about if it’s made.
I'll just watch them all in chronological order and try to make sense of it. LOL.

@disneychrista, have you seen the Jason (the Crystal Lake movies) yet? If you have, that’s about the same level of gore in these movies.

The Friday the 13th movies? Yes. I am pretty sure I have seen all of them. Those & Nightmare on Elm Street were the first "horror" movies I watched. Some day I will rewatch them all again.

Something I know that won’t happen but wish it would in H9:

John Wick: *looks around* Michael are you working again?

MM: *silently nods head*

John Wick: I’ll inform the Continental. You have a nice night.

🤣

The Scream series is another good movie series to watch if you haven’t yet. Movie 6 comes out next year.

I've watch a few of the Scream series but not all of them. Maybe that will be next Halloween's movie Marathon. Hopefully my library system has more of those than they do Halloween. I am very disappointed at how few my library has of the Halloween movies. And most aren't available to stream (for free) either. :(

AMC has them on their TV service, so if you have access to that channel via a streaming service that could help.

I meant that they released 5 Movies and then H2O wipes out 3 of them. And then they released Halloween (1998) that resets the timeline from the Original Movie.

Yeah, but that happens when there are big gaps between films and rights changing hands, etc. I mean, Batman movies do the same thing.

I just finished The Curse of Michael Meyes. I have to say this one was just doesn't stand up to the others.

I agree that Seasons of the Witch was pretty good as cheesy 80's horror movies go.

Next up is H20 and the beginning of rewriting history.

They get better after COMM.

How did you like the series as a whole?

As a whole I liked it. Wasn't too impressed with Curse or Resurrection. I did really like how in the last few that the Halloween Masks from Seasons of the Witch were featured. It is crazy to me that there were 44 years between the first and the last.

I plan to watch the Rob Zombie remakes this coming weekend, just for comparison.

Have you seen the Harry Potter or FB series? If not, that would be a great one to see as well next year.
