Halloween Horror Nights XI Dates Announced!!

Wow! Usually we have to wait until late July for dates, but the website has just been updated with the dates for 2001! The event this year actually runs until Nov. 3rd:

Does anyone think the atmosphere will be the same on Nov. 1-3? After the 31st, the public may not be as fired up.

When I visited Knott's Scary Farm in Cali, people felt sad when the 31st rolls around and packs the place because it's the last day of celebration.

I guess if the public loves the event enough, they'll attend no matter what. I can't wait for this year's HHN.

Noooo! I was going to do HHN on the 28th and 29th. Now I find out that there is no HHN on the 29th. Usually it is every night during the end of October. Does anyone that works for the park, like Earl, know if this is a typo? Please don't tell me the 29th is the only blackout day.

I'm sure since it's so early these dates are subject to change, however it seems as though they have eliminated Mondays and Tuesdays from the HHN schedule, probably since they are always so slow.

That is why I liked Mondays so much. I love to go on a peak night for the vibe, and then on an off-peak night to do the stuff I missed, or want to do again. I hope these dates change.

Thats exactly what I like to do. One night for the mazes and rides, one night for the party atmosphere. Last year the first weekend worked out pretty well. Friday was dead, Saturday was pretty crowded!

How do the hours and admission change for HHN?

Does the normal admission get you in for HHN, or do the parks close and then re-open in the evenings...a group of friends and I will be there during October and I can't wait to go!

The park (USF) usually closes at 5:30PM and then reopens at 7PM. The event usually ends at 12AM or 2AM depending on whether or not it's a peak night. Full price admission to HHN only is around $45. You can also upgrade your regualar park ticket to include HHN for around $20-25. Similar discounts apply to AP holders and FL residents usually get a discount via a coke or Taco Bell promotion.
