Halloween Holiday/family Letter

i just finished reading the annual holday family letter from a friend of many years. we get one each year with a photo of their child in his halloween costume.

i so enjoy this letter each year-it contains the same stuff that the christmas holiday letters i receive from others has, but receiving it at halloween gives me much more time to sit down and enjoy it. i also can see how their son has grown and his tastes have changed costume wise year to year.

anyone else send their holiday letters at non christmas times?

I knew someone once who only sent thanksgiving cards. I think it sounds great!!! We get our picture taken the weekend of Thanksgiving so we like to send out Christmas cards. But I do try to get them all addressed by Thanksgiving and ready to put in the mail after the picture arrives.
