Halloween Hay Ride

Hey when does the hayride thing start ? We are going near the end of September and this would be cool since we have never been to the Fort.

We went for the first time in '06 and decided it would be an annual event when we go for MNSSHP. We did it in '07 and decided if it was going to be that story line again, we would pass from now on.

The "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" was great, but we were told the horse got spooked one night and they couldn't do it again so they had to change the story. The new story re: Vinland was a dud in our opinion. The highlight was that we were camped next to the cut through that the wagon takes to the "scene". The first time they came through when I was walking our buff cocker spaniel was the first time he had ever seen a horse and he freaked...he must have thought that the horses were some kind of humongous, strange looking dogs! Did I mention that he is blond!
