Halloween Fantasy On The High Seas - Eastern October 24th 2015

pixiedust:
Hi, everyone:

Just got back yesterday from a spectacular cruise on Fantasy. We have cruised about 24 times, but this was our first Disney cruise and we were blown away by so many things. We just had to book another cruise.

We are Richard and Jennie from Waterbury, CT. Two seniors traveling alone.

I'll be catching up today reading all the posts so far.

Jennie

I just added you to our group.

Sounds like cruising is your hobby!

My SO, Bob, was born and raised in Waterbury CT. He lived there until
he went in the army. He still has family there.:goodvibes

Okay, how do I get rid of the old ticker?
I created a new one. It said cut and paste. Well, I cut. Where do I paste?

In User CP under Your Control Panel:
Under Settings and Options:
Edit Signature

In that Edit Signature area find your old ticker, it should be the very last line.
Highlight everything from the first to the last [IMG], then hit your delete or backspace key to erase it all.

Where ever you design your ticker from should give you a link to it. After
you highlight it and copy it, when you come back to the edit signature screen,
you need to click the button on the top of the edit section.... (where it shows
Bold and Italic and Fonts and etc) the one that looks like the world with a link under it. That will pop up a place to then paste your signature and hit OK or whatever it says to insert it.

Then you just save your signature at the bottom:goodvibes

Hi everyone my name is kristin and I just found this group on here. This will be my and my dh (mike) second cruise. We went on the dream for 4 nights last month without our daughter and we were hooked. We talked about it so much to my parents that my dad booked him and my mom on this cruise also. It's a surprise for my mom who is retiring in march. So altogether there will be five of us. Me, mike our dd- Madeline who will be 2 1/2 at the time my dad Louie and mom mary Ellen. I'm sorry if I rambled I wasn't sure how much Info to put. Lol. My husband also wants to take part in the FE. Can't wait to get to know everyone.

Hi Kristin, welcome!
I'm glad you had a great cruise on DCL, your parents won't be disappointed, unless they like casinos. Congrats to your mom on retiring next year. One of our other cruisers will be celebrating the same.
You didn't ramble and I'm glad to get to know people a bit more.
We all do on here.
I've had a long day so forgive me but I'll add you to out list and FE tomorrow. I'm on a tablet and am too lazy to go to the laptop, which is much easier to type on.

Glad to hear your hubby is excited too.

Just saying hello ... I was in Chicago last week for meetings and then in Indianapolis the first two days of this week ... I'm ready to not travel for the rest of the darn month!

If you drove from Chicago to Indy, you passed right by us on I-65! :: waves::

Not thrilled that frigid temps arrived so early this winter... seems like my furnace has been running 24/7! Thankful we replaced the electric mattress pad last month - a toasty bed is a wonderful thing!

Flew from STL to Chicago and then back home last week; drove from STL to Indy this week. We also were most unhappy with the cold ... it was 10 degrees yesterday when I left the hotel to go to work.

Rose ... I don't think you want to trade on this part of it since it's all senior management meetings for work. Lots of blah blah blah and no real results! :lmao:

Sounds like my job.... I have to communicate with Postmasters and other management, clerks and other lowly employees like me, important folks in DC, and loads of business customers.

Seems like we're always spinning in circles and going nowhere and when we think we know something they keep changing all the rules here and we are the people who try to help and explain the new stuff we don't understand to others.

I used to like people until I had started working in customer service.
I much like cats better!:cat:

Of course, I love my DIS friends! :lovestruc

Tracey,
You guys getting any snow? We've got freezing temps too, luckily we only
got about an inch Sunday to Monday. But we're 2 hours away from Buffalo NY where they got dumped on. I don't know if you saw the news stories on them where they got over 70 inches within a few days.
Usually Syracuse gets the most in our area, but we lucked out! :yay:

We got about an inch or so of snow - tho the roads/sidewalks were still warm enough that they stayed fairly clear. It's supposed to get up to the low 50's this weekend & rain, so it will be gone soon. :thumbsup2

I really feel for the Buffalonians - I can't imagine getting 6+ feet of snow, especially in the span of days! I wonder what the NFL will do if they can't get the stadium clear by Sunday....

Glad your weather is OK like ours is.

Buffalo was supposed to get up to another 3 feet by tonight!

Football? Those guys will play in anything!
I remember one of our DIS friends showing me a photo in Wisconsin before an upcoming game where the stadium was buried in snow and fans came in and voluntarily helped shovel it all out!

We are all booked to go to Food and Wine for the few days before the cruise! Yay! ::MickeyMo :thumbsup2
