I just booked my hubby, Pat, and I for this cruise! It will be our 5th Disney Cruise, our first on one of the new ships and our first without kids!

If there is still room, I would love to join the FE group.

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM. For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.

Here is info about the Postcard Exchange:

Good Evening Fellow Cruisers, Tonight I am going to explain the Post Card Exchange. This is separate from the Fish Extender Groups. You do not have to be a member of the FEs to participate, nor are you required to participate if you are in the FE. So here is how it works, You get Post Cards that represent where you are from. Get enough for each cabin in the PCE. Then on the back put a favorite recipe. We did this on our first cruise on the Fantasy and it was a great souvenir of the cruise. Some good recipes have been added to our cookbook. If you are interested just let me know name and cabin #. I will add this to the pinned FE post.

Yea, I know. Maybe after the 1st of the year, when we can say "we are cruising this year", people will get excited and our boards will be more active.

Hope you feel better soon. I was sick for two weeks after Thanksgiving but had to travel again for work and didn't have any sick days since I had to use them all in January for surgery ... bleh! I made sure to sneeze on every keyboard in the Kansas City office last week ... wahahahahaha!
