Awww, shucks. It's fun for me too, especially the Halloween one. That's a lot of fun because I love it so much.

I whole heartingly agree with Dawn. Thanks for doing this.:flower3:

So ladies, this is my first exchange to do. :goodvibes It sounds like alot of fun.:yay:

I also signed up my 2 grandsons.:cloud9::banana::cloud9:
I'm so glad you joined us this time!!! :cool1:

I hope you have so much fun that you sign on for the next one too. We'll be doing a Christmas stocking one for the adults only. Kids always get their stockings from "Santa", so this is a fun way for us to get one too. :santa:

55 days until Halloween!!

Those of you who are going to DL in October, make sure you pop into that store in DTD that sells the Dept. 56 items. They always have an awesome set up of Halloweentown. It's so neat to see.

I just signed myself and my mom up! We're both so excited!!!

Got your PM Tina. I'm glad your mom is going to join us!! :yay:

Beth I LOVED that Dept 56 store but it went out of business! :( I used to LOVE to go in there at Halloween and Christmas just to look at all the displays. WAH!!!

And I know what you mean about the holiday birthdays. Poor Katy's is ON New Year's Eve 12/31. She was due on Christmas day so I am glad that at least she wasn't born THAT day cuz I have relatives with that birthday and that REALLY stinks but still even a week later stinks. We always have a cake that day and do family gifts but I know my parents are getting a little tired of always having to do a stay at home nye because they get invited to a lot of parties. I honestly don't like going out on nye because of the traffic and craziness so I don't mind and I am sure when she gets older it won't be as big of a deal but I refuse to let my mom combine her birthday and christmas and she DOES try to get away with getting her less using that old excuse about "well she JUST got x,y, z last week". I always say SO what. If her birthday was in June you wouldn't get her LESS stuff. We always wait to till the saturday AFTER New Years however far away that is to have her friend party. Sometimes that is only a few days later and not everyone always shows up and plus she gets mad cuz she can't ever have pool parties or outdoor ones but we always try to make up for it with fun stuff. Lynn's is feb 7th which is a week before valentine's and although that is not a huge holiday it happens to be our anniversary so that makes it tough too and then Shane's is May 29th which is not a big holiday but it always ends up falling real close to Memorial day and it also happens to be 5 days before mine. So we have a lot of crazy birthdays too that make tough on the old pocket book LOL. Shelby's is the ONLY one that is usually not around anything although sometimes it falls around easter (April 27) but it actually is the perfect time. Weather is good and all the kids usually show up etc etc.

Anyway back to our topic at hand. LOL

No way, really?? Well, bummer. They always had the cutest displays. Oh well.

Another place that's super cute for anyone in SoCal is Stat's in Pasadena. I love that store! Great Halloween and Christmas decorations. :goodvibes

Yeah it sucks! In fact I am prettty sure they were gone when we were there this past April. They were another one struck by the economy I guess like Libby Lu and the rest. Sad cuz that was a really fun store! :(

Happy Labor Day exchangers!!

Only two more days left to sign up. I will be closing sign ups Wednesday morning, the 9th, and names will go out sometime that evening. So if you've been thinking about signing up, now's the time! :thumbsup2

I'd love to join in this exchange, but DH and I have set very aggressive financial goals for the next year in order to move, and so I'm going to have to pass.

He's making sacrifices in fun things also, and I can't go against my promise. I was very excited about the exchange though. I've had such a positive experience the last two ones.

I can't wait to see everyone's packages! :dance3:

Aww, bummer. We'll miss you Heather. But kudos to you for sticking to your goals. :thumbsup2

I am loving all the cute Halloween images. :cool1: I went to the grocery store yesterday and they had two aisles full of Halloween merchandise and candy. I was so excited to see it!!! :hyper:

I, on the other hand, will most likely not be getting crafty. I just don't have it in me! :rolleyes1

Me either!! lol I totally admire people who are crafty and creative like that. :worship:

LAST DAY for sign-ups. :)

Yup, Dept 56 is gone. Bummer too, we liked wandering around in there. Never bought anything but we liked it.

Kelly, your family sounds so much like mine...LOL
