Thank you for your e-mail regarding your family's upcoming voyage aboard the Disney Magic.

I truly regret the disappointments you have expressed regarding the Halloween celebrations onboard the ship. At this time, we are finalizing our Halloween celebration. We are looking at having our Halloween celebration on a different night than the Pirates in the Caribbean Deck Party. Since we are still finalizing our Halloween celebration, you may wish to contact us closer to your sailing once the finishing touches are in place.

I can assure you that we take your concerns very seriously and I am sure that your family will have a magical cruise.

Sincerely,

Jennifer

Speaking of staterooms, I checked availability yesterday. CAT 6-8, 11, and 12 are all available as GTY only. There are still 8+ staterooms available for CAT 4, 5, 9, and 10.

Anybody check their stateroom assignments? What a difference a couple of days make! It looks like they've started filling in the blanks. CAT 5, 7, and 8 are no longer available. 1 Cat 10 room left. Still 8+ rooms left in CAT 4 and 9. CAT 6, 11, and 12 are GTY only.

I e-mailed DCL about the Pirate/ Halloween activites the same day this afternoon and here was their reply:

For your particular sailing, the Variety Acts are John Charles, David
Dimuzzio and Taylor Mason. However, these performers are subject to
change without notice.

I can assure you that we take your concerns very seriously and I am sure that your family will have a magical cruise.

Keep the notes going to them and I think they will do it different nights.

Jen,
I thought of you this morning.....on the way back from the bus stop, I spoke with a neighbor who was walking her 4 month old PUGGLE! OMGoodness....sooo cute! I may have to get one of those one day. BTW, how is Lilly doing?

You can take the 1 Cat 10 room off the list......We are the lucky ones to get it. After being a passholder for 6 years, taken 7 cruises with 2 more booked and spending thousands of dollars with Disney why should I expect to get upgraded to a cat 9? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh well maybe next cruise.

Chris...Maybe you will get the upgrade...let us know.

Just got home from the Wonder sailing....

.... this was one of the very best voyages we've ever taken! So much nice to share (especially from the involved and neighborly DIS folks!) - but IT'S EARLY now on our 1st day back I gotta get some stuff done to get settled back home. SO I'll post somethin' more later - and I'll try to sort trough some of the 6,632 pictures I shot and kept. And that's not counting the pictures I shot on our debarkation day! And yeah... now I have LOTS of material for photoshopping images in the years to come.... LOL... I'm just kidding. I have a number which may qualify as moderately memorable to some....

Oh well... I kno... I'm a nut with the camera. Oh yeah... we rebooked for Septeber 15th 2007 ... and all our table mates rebooked for the same voyage as well? Anyone else rebook yet? And any returning on the 15th with the Magic (Eastern)?

OK.... gotta run now....

Get some rest...

Cheers!

Here are a couple of handy snap shots. Not my best 0 just quick selections....

Nope, that wasn't the one. 2653 (sideways stateroom) is still available! Cat's 5 & 7 are available again, as GTY only, this morning.

There are still at least 8 cat 9s available. Maybe you can get a cheap upgrade at the port! That's about all I can hope for. Otherwise, we'll be satisfied staying in the bilge room running the pump.

Welcome back Crash!

Welcome back Crash!!!!!

We missed you......

Hi everyone! I too sent an e-mail and got the same response back.

Welcome back Capt! Sounds like you had a great time.

I am a little under the weather. I have a cold & an ear infection. Rather have it now, than in a few weeks!

I am starting to pack, as it has gotten pretty cold here and the boys are now wearing jeans and out of the shorts. Anyone else starting to pack? It getting closer ro sailing time!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Actually I'm pretty excited. It seems DCL has found someone else to shovel coal, so my cot in the boiler room has been upgraded. But forgive my midwestern ignorance of ships, I keep looking on my room maps, but I can't find "crow's nest." Is this a good upgrade? Anyone?

Happy Anniversary Tim And Heather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heather, sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I just finished my antibiotics for my sinus infection, but still dealing with headaches. My DH said if I was going to get sick, do it now...before he bubblewraps me to prevent illness or injury. I've been wanting to go horseback riding now the weather is cooler and he just looks at me as if to say "if you fall off and break something...you're staying home!" Then again, as accident prone as I am, I do think twice about it...hence the reason I haven't gone yet! Two years ago I ended up on crutches, wheelchair and scooter buggy for Christmas at Disney when I blew out my foot (plantar fasciitis). NOT FUN!!! :sad2:

As for packing, I started when I reserved the cruise! :thumbsup2

When do we do the doc dance???

Deanna.........LOVE the puggles. My Lilly follows me around like my shadow. Never allows me more than 1 ft away from her.

Crash. So glad you're back, have been thinking about you and hoping to hear much about your trip.

I checked my room. Still the same. I wonder if I could upgrade to a 4 at port and save some money and gain some room.

Happy anniversary Heather and Tim.

I am watching my Goddaughter, 4 months old. Can you say Baby bug? I think I'm catching it.

Last cruise I had high ambitions to walk deck 4 early in the a.m. for a little exercise. I never made it. I'd like to try this time. I only took the elevator 2x. Took stairs always. Still gained 3 lbs. What has your experience been with gaining or losing weight while on a cruise ship?
