Welcome aboard JennL, :welcome: so happy you and your new husband will be joining us!

The tea is on sea days at 3:00 at Palo's. It is very relaxing, and they serve the most delicious finger foods. I would love to have all the Ladies join us!!! Here is a link to the tea menu and photo's. All you need to do is make reservations for October 30th. There is only 1 tea time available for each sea day. If you can't get reservations you can sign up for them as soon as you board. http://www.castawayclub.com/

Melissa- I am so glad you are joining me. I can't wait to meet you. I am also a big talker!!!
Teri

Would it be weird to do the tea if I don't drink tea? It just sounds like it would be a fun and relaxing opportunity to sit and visit with the ladies.

Teri, I would have never guessed from your user name that you LUV 2 TALK! LOL!! You can add my name to the list of talkers. I think I get it from my late beloved grandpa. He would strike up a conversation with anyone.

Glad to hear it will not interere with the tot! This sounds really fun! I think we are going to have a whole group of talkers! Tim said the phone is permanently attatched to my ear! Kristin can attest to that! I can not wait to meet everyone! :grouphug:

I'm not a big tea drinker either, but it sounds like a lot of fun! I'm always up for meeting new people and getting the chance to talk to someone over the age of 5!!! Most of my time is spent with a 3 and 5 year old! So adult conversation feels like a luxury sometimes!!
Melissa

Buckifan & Melissa You do not have to drink tea. I am not a hot tea drinker but I tried a mint tea on the cruise and LOVED it!!! I am now a hot tea drinker during the winter. Like I said it is very relaxing and I really enjoyed on my last Halloween cruise. It would really be nice to have all of you join me and Melissa for an hour over tea to just get to know each other.

Heather- I figured we should be done by 2:00 at the latest for Trick or Treating. That would give everyone 2 hours to meet, trick or treat, and take picture's if they want to.

Congratulations- JennL on your upcoming wedding/cruise-honeymoon. Rick and I went to DisneyWorld for our Honeymoon and we have been married 18 years!!! Their is something magical about Disney and Honeymoons!!

Buckifan- Yes, my screen name say's it all!!!!

Heather

Teri,
I am deeply offended that you and your female brethren are excluding us poor guys from high tea. GDAC and I would gladly adorn ourselves in skirts if that is what it takes for us to join you. And we have a spare hour between the beer tasting and the tequila tasting! pirate: :rotfl2:

So, does everybody have their plans laid out for St. Thomas? I was checking out cruisecal.com and found this little bit of information on what ships will be in port that day....

Arrive <Ship> #Guests (depart)
7:00 AM HAL Zuiderdam 1848 (6:00 PM)
7:00 AM RCL Radiance Of The Seas 2501 (6:00 PM)
8:00 AM DCL Disney Magic 2400 (6:00 PM)
9:00 AM RCL Mariner Of The Seas 3114 (6:00 PM)
10:00 AM HAL Maasdam 1258 (6:00 PM)
11:00 AM NCL Norwegian Spirit 1996 (6:00 PM)

Yes, that's right. That's roughly 13117 cruisers dumped onto the island for a single day! Zowie! The beaches are going to be PACKED!

I don't know how dependable this information is so far in advance and I didn't verify the schedules of all of the ships for that date. But, it will be interesting to see where they put all of those ships when the schedule is released!

The ladies tea sound like it would be fun... Anyone else wanting to do it and then we can start a list on the web site??

Awol, WOW makes me glad that I am going to a private resort on St. Thomas.. WE are going to an alll inclusive resort where we have vacationed and honeymooned a few times to visit the family that runs it..OUr only problem will be getting a cab among all of the other cruisers to take us there..The beaches are going to be packed..What are your plans for while you are in ST. Thomas...??????

If anyone would like to have their ressies put onto the website for others to see email them to myself or Heather and we will post them...Or shore excersions that you have booked....
WE now are up to 21 kids for trick and treating..I ordered some stuff for the kids the other day....

Have a nice Sat....

One more week home and then we are headed to Cape COd to get some R and R on the beach for a whole week...Hoping to meet Princess Olivia aka Jenn and Family while we are there...If I keep up all of the traveling then I will be able to meet all of you before the cruise.... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: LOL

I might adorn myself in a skirt for the beer tasting as well, it all depends on the amount of room for my clothes, after LaRue and girls are done packing. :dance3:

Funny......my husband is allowed to think! :firefightMy line is that he is just supposed to "stand there and look good, not talk". :smokin:

The idea of him in a skirt, however, is a buzz kill for me. Even if it is a grass skirt and a coconut bra!

See you all soon!

Oh me too........I don't even want to think about it!!! It creeps me out when Kylie gets Rob to play her Pretty Pretty Princess game, and if Rob wins he gets to wear the tiara! I'm like "Okay, that's enough....take it off!"

you guys are making me laugh...
The thought of grown men with beer and mini skirts on...... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The whole thing brings back many memories of Buffet concerts :dance3: and being young. I can say that I have seen most of my husbands friends wearing skirts and coconut bras...........just never him! Oh to be so young again. Back to reality in that I went to my 20th high school reunion last night (and am still hungover 24 hours later) wow things have changed.

Bucki........I do remember Pretty Pretty Princess from when our daughter was small! She is getting her braces off next week and painted her nails black today.........krap, just one more reminder of days gone by! :confused3
