Kritter, what did you do with your bonus room?

Buck,

I found that really never used the guest bed in the bonus room so I just sold it...I want to get a futon for in here so then if we do have overnight guests then we can use that for them to sleep on...I wanted to make it into a huge tv room but dh wanted to keep it as the computer room and someday turn it into a game room for the kids like you mentioned right now they are too young for that...So I have the computer for us and one for them and got them a little table for their computer.. have a rocking chair with books in a basket so this can be the "quite" room where we can read and play on the computer etc....I think we willget more use out of the room now..I painted it a nice green and got nice new curtains, etc.. in the room I also hung all black and white photos on the walls that my dad has taken of the kids and cousins, etc...looks really nice and peaceful in here now....

Oh my gosh who saw the shows last night?? WHat did yu think Jen was thinking of you as I ws watching..If I had your number I would have called you on the commericials.....

I thought of you too. Did I not call the whole Gabrielle thing?! What about when she said she was a 00 and the guy said she should trya size 0 and she said he was calling her fat. Nothing like fueling the fire amongst American housewives need to be thin!!f I really can't stand George. He is so creepy it's hard to watch. Soo funny about the home movie. As far as G.A. that woman was insane to do what she did. It is also so annoying not to see him just take Meredith and kiss her. He is clearly not happy.

Olivia's room was a garden before. I'm having a hard time with this room.. Cameron's room is next!

Kritter, what did you do with your bonus room? We made our 4th bedroom into a game room/computer room for the kids. They have their own computer up there to play games on, and we put a foosball table up there also. It gets a lot more use now than when it was a guest room.

Princess, we are in getting ready to makeover Drew's bedroom also and I love Pottery Barn Teen. It makes sense to decorate so they can grow with their room, rather than grow out of it again in a couple of years. Drew loves all of the camo and locker furniture. I think I'm going to do a whole wall of cork so he can easily change posters or what not.

Love the cork idea. Again very clever. Can you throw some ideas my way, it would be greatly appreciated. Her room is pretty open to ideas. The only thing I must stick with is lavender, lime, and white for color scheme.

My best friends daughters room is princess themed as well, SO CUTE!! Kaylee just turned 4 and for her birthday she got the princess t.v., dvd player and the princess phone. Her room has all of the specialty princess stuff from the catalogs. The best part is that my friends mom is an incredible artist and she painted every single princess on her walls. It looks like a Disney animater did it. I wish I had an ounce of artistic talent.

I know I really think he killed him...I could not believe that whimppy George could do that to him......I love these shows since this is the only way to get the "drama." Well if you ever want to share the complications with someone I am a ready ear....

We got the princess tv, etc... last year for their b-day from their grandpa...Oh I would love to see the murals on the wall in her room...if you could take a picture...I painted our basement all disney characters, minnie, mickey etc.. but I cheated I used an overhead from school and put it up on the wall and traced them onto the wall..Right now Hope and Hanna are in the same room since they refuse to be seperated...they are way to close for that now..so untill they ask they will be together....we have their "second" bedroom also princess and they have toys, books etc...these kids are wicked they have more space in this house than we do....

Love the shows and can not wait till thurs.. but I have to tivo it all on thurs. since I have a purse party to go to..these are the best parties ever.......Tomorrow I am going to take part in a focus group on toys for little girls..I am sure I will find out some of the new toys for kids...hoping it is fun and they pay you too so should be a nice night out for me....he he.....

the weather here is supposed to be soo crappy tomorrow and the next few days... My chest is killing me already and it has not even begun yet.. i am going to be soo miserable this winter.. i am soo dreading it......Wish I could move to somewhere warm......

Bummed out no good shows on tv tonight.......ugh!!!!
I might start addressing out my christmas cards....
we should all exchange addresses so we could do a card exchange...let me think how we could do this without all having our addresses displayed on the main boards...it would be cool to do.....

Does anyone have exciting plans for Thanksgiving? We are planning a very laid back, relaxing day. Going to my parent's on Thursday, and my mom is doing all of the cooking!

We are looking forward to this Saturday as well. Ohio State vs. Michigan!!!!

We are having thanksgiving dinner at our house....Only my parents us and my aunt so a small crowd...

I have been enjoying the last couple of days..Dh has been home thurs, today and monday using up the last of the vacation days..
He has worked soo hard...He made the kids a craft room in our basement...It is soo cute with little stools, etc.. they love it they painted down their today...Dh is exhausted but they are soohappy and that is what is important...
Feel like I should give him his christmas gift early..I got him the satellite radio..for his car since on dec. his commute will be an hour plus.. do you think it is dumb to give it to him the night before he starts his new commute but then he will not have a "big" gift to open .. I worry about the dumbest things I think I need a full time job cause when I worked never would have had time to worry about things like this...
got most of my christmas cards addressed yesterday....

Hello...

.... back from a 2 day visit to Disneyland with me going to a first ever game convention for a few hours yesterday. It was sort of amazing - all these games - but it was a little less than I expected.

It's been real windy out here - hence we've had a lot of particles thrown into the air - plus a ton of leaves blown off our trees and the near by trees onto our yard. We have the misfortune of having a home sited at the right spot on the street to to accumulate a bunch of leaves.

SO - aside from that - today we have gymnastics make up class in the morning for the older girl - and a birthday party with clown (or magician?) for the afternoon. Likely to be a big one as this particular crowd is not the casual crowd but the cozy crowd - so we'll probably lounge the day away ater the "formal" party.

Then tomorrow is another b-day party at a "tea service" thing. I frankly don't quite know how to describe it except to say it's sort of fancy and it will be a 2st for us. I think this is involving a smaller number of little girls dressing up for a formal tea party and birthday celebration. AND - did you know it's "national games week?". Bet ya' never even heard of that before... but it is. And as such I was invited to an afternoon of games by an old friend... so I am quasi obligated to swing by. THEN, I must get some work done before monday starts... yeah - gonna get myself to do some work for probably half the day.

So.... what on Earth does any of this have to do with cruising on the Magic? Well... supposedly I'm evading answering Kitters' last question - except I don't recall reading that Kitter actually stated a question - rather it was sort of a ... remark. AND - it was Princess who rephrased it as a question - and frankly I had already breezed over it not thinking of it as a question. And now I'm so confused with so many postings passing that I think I need a GUESS to be issued before I entertain a question. And now I'm being smoked out as evading! I'm soooo confused.... sort of.

Anyways,... last night Disney canceled fireworks on account of the winds being a bit too high. That was a bummer. And on the way home we stopped at a Chinese Restuarant and got 2 live lobsters for $13.95 and a dish of sweet "capital pork chops" for the after 10PM special price of $5.50. Not quite the bargain on the pork because the portion was scaled down from their regular $7.95 sized portion (no suirprise there)... but the lobsters were aboiut what we get when we visit Boston. In "Bean Town" we always hit this one Chinese restyarant where they always serve 2 Lobsters for $13.95. The place in LA usually has it for $18.95 but it apparently was on sale tonight.

So - after carefule consideration.... I am convinced I am mildly wacked from all the running around of the past 3 or 4 days. Oh, did I mention since Thursday I've driven ...

Well Captain,

Seems like you have had busy couple of days...Seems like that is how it gets at this time of year...Well I feel like that at all times of the year..My kids have more of a social calendar than I do....

Today we are off to a purse party then my family will be meeting me for a family dinner with my aunts, etc..We do the family dinner once a month..It is really fun and a great way to see everyone...So looking forward to this since my cousin is home from college for Thanksgiving and my twins love her....
They woke up this morning asking how many hours till we see Taylor...Soo cute....I want them to stay this age forever...

The weather here is cold and rotten.. I told Dh last night one winter he has and then if my chest still feels this way after this winter...We are so moving south...can not take the cold and I hate every minute of winter....They say snow in our eight day forecast...That stinks....UGH!!!!!!!!!Can you tell I am misserable with this weather.....?????

Ok well I hope everyone enjoys the weekend my Dh has been home for a few days and we are loving it..He made part of our basement into a craft room for the twins so we are making little projects all weekend...

I guess it's a quiet weekend. Looks like the 2 catagory 1s have checked in - welcome Jaypd to our little thread! So ---- anyone else want to chime in and venture a guess or question (y/n ) to help you guess what costumes we just got fer next year!

The routine is 3 guesses per screen identity and you get one question (y/n) to start - then I'm asking folks to make a guess, then you get another (y/n) question, followed by another guess. And so on till 3 questions and guesses have passed.

OK... gotta go - my older daughter has a tea party birthday thing for her best friend today... gotta go git ready!

Sorry guys that was a mistake. I am not in a Cat 1 on this cruise. I am most likely going to be on the cruise in a Cat 6 but have not booked it yet.
